The company provides consultation for anyone who is considering purchasing a studio design. This entails meeting with customers and assessing their composing and/or recording needs. “We determine how many inputs and outputs are needed, and what hardware and software platforms would be best for each customer’s needs,” says West L.A. Music’s Joe Taupier. “Once a customer has purchased a system, we work out all of the details, drawing up signal flow diagrams and charts for cable connections, rack layout and all hardware to be integrated into the system. Many times, our final systems include products from Universal Audio. Products like the 1176LN and the Teletronix LA-2A.”
