Really surprised by this
This came with a bundle I bought. I had no interest in it and would not have bought it separately. Guess what? It's super useful for broad equalization. I haven't tried any surgical stuff with it but I'd bet it can do that too. I'm knocking off a star just because this is one where I wish UA wasn't so dead set on sticking to the hardware interface. It might be easier to use for some if they altered the interface. All in all I'm glad I have this plug despite not wanting it.

Great Sound , but as a native plugin hardly usable.
It sounds awsome but even with powerful PCs there are problems with dropouts and crackles if it is not used as the only plugin with only one instance in a project. It really is CPU-greeedy. UAD should offer a UAD-2 DSP version asap.

Helios Type 69 o melhor
O Helios Type 69 é o melhor chanell para mim. Não sei explicar mas consigo chegar muito rápido aos resultados com ele. Tudo se encaixa rapido na mix . Não sei se é por causa da sonoridades das minhas referências de discos Vintage. Só sei dizer que funciona. Fico esperando por uma extensão Luna para ele. Assim como o lendário compressor Pie. Tenho de 2 outras marcas famosas e esse Helios da UAD tem aquela magia que esperava. O melhor!

Would be a great plugin on UAD-2 hardware
A great sounding plugin but as a native hardly usable even on powerful PCs . It should be adapted to UAD-2 hardware urgently.

Creamy, Rich and Lucious!
After hearing Dr. Mix demoing a MiniMoog, I knew I needed that sound, but I also knew that I wasn't going to be purchasing a Model D. I looked up reviews of various VSTs and even the Behringer Model D and I had settled on something. But, then UAD offered their VST at a price I couldn't ignore and I'm glad I purchased it. I'm not going to claim that it sounds exactly like a MiniMoog. I've only ever watched demos on YouTube, but I found that rich creamy bass sound that I heard on Dr. Mix's MiniMoog, And have already released a song on YouTube with it!

Half of the plugins don't work on Logic Pro X so far
I was quite happy to get these plugins but half of them seem not to work on Logic ....Which is really disappointing. So far I didn't get much help to solve the problem...

For a long time I'm looking for a good enulation of an Fender amp. Without fear of exaggeration I can say that today UA won my heart, I can't let go of my guitar, the feel under my fingers is very addictive and realistic

Worst Piano Sound I've Ever Heard
I love all my UA plugins so I was expecting great sounds from this piano. Was disappointed to say the least. It was a complete waste of money. I hope in future updates UA will make this thing sound as good as I was hoping for.

Love this little plug-in really good for adding stuff quickly and not getting consumed by parameters but please I can only echo all the other comments to make it really useful and for money of us to upgrade to the full 10 machines I would request this feature please implement as soon as possible thank you so much. Great little idea.

Why does it need an internet connection to work?!
I purchased this one to use as my go-to vocal compressor on various projects. I didn't knew that it requires internet connection, so i can't use it when i'm outside or on a plane. It's a shame that there's no option to transfer the license to my laptop directly. An AU unit also launches too long, because it connects to the internet every time.
And that would only be half the problem. After all, my Ableton Live won't even launch a project with these plugins unless I'm connected to the internet. So my go-to compressor paralyzes my whole projects, and if my internet connection is interrupted, the plugin stops and displays the message "DAW restart required", even if the connection is restored. It's a shame.
I don't rate it as 1 star, because they sound great, actually. But for me, as for traveling producer, it's impossible to use it all the time.H. Acero
