    Amazing sounds, useful and simple!

The midi-preset-tweaker crowd will call me crazy but I prefer this to the Starlight. It's simple and immediately inspiring. No need to fire up an app to surf or save presets, just plug it into an amp and away you go. Sure, if you run a stereo rig you might want a delay with stereo outputs, but has there ever been a stereo Echoplex? Not that I'm aware of... Basically the things that this pedal doesn't have is why I prefer it to the overwhelm of tweaking the Starlight. The preamp sounds VERY good, I wasn't expecting to enjoy it because, being an emulated preamp means your dry signal is now being digitally processed and converted. However to my ears it really does sound incredible and most importantly it doesn't feel any different than my dry signal - just fatter and warmer, with a small volume bump. The preamp really adds to the value of this pedal, which I got on sale new for HALF PRICE? That's a ridiculous bargain for the value in my opinion. Get one now!
