How did they do it ???? It’s nothing short of Amazing !
Iv used a lot of gear in my 20 years in music and the plug ins that I just got sound so close if not , identical ! Every new plug in I used or tried just had me jaw dropped mind blown ! I mean the Avalon plug in sounds like I am using a real Avalon smh it’s insane !! My Fav is the 1176 Rev A with the LA-3A right Behind it to add that Smoothness to my vocal ! There is so many great Plug ins it’s like a kid on Christmas !! The API plug in sounds so good ! This plug in bundle has to be the most game changing Thing iv ever used as an Artist ! I know I’m late to the show but I’m an Apogee Guy ! I love my Apogee symphony desktop ! But now I get to use UAD plug ins with it ! The best of both worlds but I have to say UAD plug ins sound like the real deal ! It’s kinda scary how identical they sound ! I use my U87ai , DACHMAN87i and Stam 87i ! And a blue baby bottle from 2012 and one from 2016 . Blue baby bottle Pre SL is my Fav mic next to the U87 . And with the UAD plug ins I’m just making the best music iv ever made ! My fav Plug ins to use with my Stam 87i is Schepps 73 EQ and the UAD LA-2A ! It’s just phenomenal ! You can’t get this kinda sound in the box nowhere ! I have a lot of plug ins by other companies but it’s just not as good as UA’s ! Audio interface wise I’m sticking with Apogee ! But plug ins ! UAD period !!! There’s just no competition ! The symbiotic relationship between Softube and UAD is maturing quite nicely. I wish there were more such cooperation in the music gear/software biz. Making your plugins available in native format has allowed for the next step in what is possible in the home studio environment. The UAD Signature Edition Version 2 is a wonderful collection of the essentials for the studio environment and then some, regardless of your input format. That's said, at the risk of sounding ungrateful ... um, where's the Neve stuff?
