Explore the Ultimate Moog Filter and Sequencer
Moog analog filters have long reigned supreme as the most musical filtering circuits ever devised. With its incredibly rich sounds and built-in sequencing capabilities, the UAD Moog Multimode Filter Collection represents a major advancement for all filter kind.
Create with More Modes, Slopes, and Range
Borrowed from the amazing Sub 37, the Moog Multimode XL plug-in offers four distinct filter slopes and full-range 20Hz to 20kHz operation for massive filter flexibility. Equally useful as an EQ or subharmonic enhancer, the Multimode XL Filter plug-in can blow out drums or inject subtle depth to synths and guitars.
Unlock Your Creative Potential
The Moog Multimode Filter XL plug-in gives you an intuitive four-lane 16-step sequencer, pushing this virtual desktop filter set to near-instrument status. Discover unlimited creative potential, from melodic and polyrhythmic pattern programming to random chaos and cacophony.
Experiment with Unlimited Textures
The Moog Multimode Filter XL allows boundless exploration with independent Attack and Release controls, plus four assignable Envelope destination selections for Filter Cutoff or Resonance, Modulation Amount, or Rate. The Spacing control detunes separate hard-panned filters, letting you radically shift your stereo image.
Employ Endless Dual LFO Modulation Effects
Borrowed from the Sonic Six, the Moog Multimode XL's LFO Modulation section gives you two independent tap tempo controlled LFO Rate for rhythmic phrases. And with seven LFO Wave selections including Slewed Random and positive or negative wave LFO Reset, you can sculpt rich automated sweeps.
What They Say
The Moog Multimode Filter XL plug-in has all of the yummy analog fatness and personality of the original hardware. And with its deep control functions, all recallable and automatable in your DAW, you get amazing sculpting power for your unique sonic creations.

I love the new Moog Multimode Filter, and have been using it constantly since its release. The new modes and slopes really allow me to get surgical while capturing that classic Moog vibe. And the sequencing options unlock a world of creative possibilities.
Incredible range of tools with the filter collection, modulation works brilliantly, and the sequencer is a terrific tool for adding more analogue squelch and heft.

This filter is one of the best available in the daw realm, I have used and tried out many over the 35 years that I’m doing this. Highly recommended and I hope for a native version someday.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you’ll need an Apollo audio interface, UAD-2 Satellite, or UAD-2 PCIe card to run these plug-ins, using the onboard DSP. The plug-ins run on the hardware itself, without adding strain to your computer’s CPU. In an Apollo, onboard DSP processing allows you to run realtime UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency, and even record that processing directly to your DAW.
This refers to the number of SHARC DSP processors in Apollo and UAD-2 hardware. A DUO core system has twice the amount of processing power compared to a SOLO core system. More SHARC DSP cores increases the number of UAD-2 plug-ins you can run on the hardware.
No, Satellites provide DSP to run UAD-2 plug-ins in your DAW.
Yes, you can start a fully functional 14-day demo from any plug-in bundled with the UAD software. Simply click “Start Demo”, and start using it in your DAW.
UAD-2 licenses follow the hardware, it does not matter which computer they are connected to. You can have up to six UAD-2 devices registered to a system in your Universal Audio account, which share those licenses. See UAD-2 Plug-In Licensing Explained for full details. Authorisation of UAD-2 hardware is managed by the UAD Meter & Control Panel Application.
