I never have the chance to use the actual Pultec, but this is awesome to put everywhere.
Just drop it and is sounding on its own, dial it and make evrything sound even better

Closest to the real thing
Absolutely must have for anybody who's looking for an authentic 1176 sound. Multiple blind tests and people just can't tell where's the real deal and where's the plugin. It's THAT close to a hardware unit.

OK I can’t compare this to the actual hardware, however this is super useable, effective and easy. Fully recommend this plugin.

I had Avalon hardware and sold it, but I have the courisity if the pluging sound similar, Im very exited because, the diference between they are unaudible, i give 5 stars, Im surprised with the quality of re-creation, I recomeded, From Monterrey México.

The Fairchild just makes everything sound so smooth. I love it, and with a tweak of the input gain it just creates a subtle texture to my mixes and sounds.

It’s so cool to finally have the Avalon sound inside my daw. I so used to the sound of a Bass DI coming through it and the air band on some vocals it’s unmistakable recognizable.

The Pultec Passive EQ collection> Excellent
Way back in the 70's I remember going to a studio in NJ that had the Pultec EQ in their rack. I could not believe the sound they produced. Now UA has done an excellent job in making this series of EQ's that come the closest to that original sound I heard in that studio...This is a must have for a home studio and I could not be happier with this purchase...Wonderful and keep up the great work...Regards, Michael
