LA2A collection flexibility and nice sound
Teletronix LA-2A collection faithfully reproduces the classic analog compressor.
The sound is really nice and works very well in the mix.
Performs well on transients, gives character to the tracks.
His algoritimo seems to me the best so far. The curve of comprehension is very well reproduced.
The three different models provide a lot of flexibility.
Each one has their own tone and different attack and release times.
LA-2A Silver Is the newest and fastest incarnation.
LA-2A Grey has medium attack and release times and is the best compromise on many sources with a more meaty tone.
LA-2 oldest is very special.
Point against him: consumes a lot of CPU compared to the version legasy a
parallel compression and sidechain is missing.

Superiour EQ Bundle!!!
Holy Cow!
This is THE best EQ software we have ever used and believe me, we have soo many plugins that it have become funny. Always trying to find "that special one" and here it is. As we re lucky enough to have access to the hardware from time to time I can honestly say this bundle sounds soo cloße it's Scary :-)
Great Job UA! We Salute You.

Awesome character EQ
Just restating what most have said before. Great character, unique operation. Mine live on my busses for gentle sweetening. Also started trying the filter on my reverb sends though it's probably not the most efficient use of dsp! A big step up from the legacy versions. Just try them!

Deserves a look
Got this on sale over Christmas without demoing. Really pleased with it now. I like it on bass or in series with some of my other compressors. Dsp hit is low for how nice it sounds. Great addition to my toolbox.

Amazing compression for a plugin
A big step up in quality compared to the legacy version. Do if you liked that then you should try this collection. Dsp usage is higher too but in my opinion the difference makes justifies this additional load. Essential stuff!

Essential UAD plugins!
Basically the main reason I have my uad cards. Nothing else I have sounds like this. Hard to get a bad sound from these compressors. Highly recommended.

Sweet!
Warm and subtle glue mojo for your mixes. Slap it on as many channels as you can! I made the mistake of buying it with only a solo. So now I have a quad too ???? Might seem a bit much resource-wise but it's so nice it eliminates the need for a lot of my normal compressors and EQ. Can't vouch for it's authenticity as I never used a real studer but judged on it's own merits I think it delivers. The price may put some off but compared to the hassle and cost of using real multitrack recorders it begins to look a lot more economical.
I don't personally use it on busses - that's more of a dsp resource decision rather than a mix decision. I'll hopefully be getting the Ampex for buss duties soon ????

Truly the best
best plug-in compressors I have. They are truly lifelike. They respond without sacrificing any of the audio's original power in any frequency range. Some similar plugs will mask over the true low freq energy or boost mids when just placed on the track.

How do they do it?
Still loving this plugin. I can't believe they were able to improve the legacy 670 but they did. The user presets are even better!

Remarkable plug in
As a song writer, record producer, composer (Wendy's Chevy Trucks, and more) and orchestrator for thirty years I've made recordings on everything from 2" tape to ADAT to DAWs so I've seen pretty much every compressor, EQ etc out there in action. And I've worked in high end studios with all the stuff.
This plug in is ridiculous in how well it emulates the hardware. I especially like how responsive it is to subtle changes sonically. The added tweak-ability from the original Fairchild plugin (which I still love as well) is a big deal.
I will continue to reach for this on so much of what I do.
Great work!

My dear Fairchild
It's not everyday you can say something delivers the real deal
The Fairchild family collection is a must have for your plugin arsenal of all your plugins this is your go to plug in.
What more can you say try it out it speaks for itself....
Let your ears enjoy the rest..

Fairchild Tube Limiter Collection
High quality plugin, cozy, rounded, full sound! I am very satisfied with the work of developers.

More of what we loved....
The MKII Fairchild brings this compressor set up to speed with the 1176 and LA-2 MKIIs....more of what we already loved about these venerable compressors. Now that harmonic distortion and saturation are modeled, on extreme settings these comps have character to spare along with dynamic shaping abilities. Highly recommended.

Sounds great
The Lexicon Emulation sounds really great, and the Video was really helpful.

Allows greater flexibility
I've had many years of good fortune using the "legacy" version of the UA Pultec Plug-ins.
This new collection, IMO improves upon the former by a lowing a greater range of expression. Things are a bit less "touchy" when using the peak or cut functions, meaning more "leeway' between the #'s.
This is similar to the changes in the LA2A collection.
There is more transparency with the new Pultec collection, without loss of the warmth characteristics which inspire them to use it ion the first place.
5 Stars.

Subtle but nice improvements
I'm quite pedantic when it comes to sound, subjecting new gear & plugins to a set of tests until I'm convinced that it can achieve the quality that I like. The legacy EQP1A has long been on my list of EQ plugins to use when mixing. Although the new version comes close to nulling with the legacy version, I still like the subtle differences. It produces a slightly less brittle sound when boosting bright sources and it's great for achieving a good bass sound. The extra filters are a bonus.
