Great
I've tried many Pultec emulations and while there are many that work well for me, this is above the rest.

My favorite UAD Plugin!
I don't have every UAD plugin, but I have a few, and this one is hands down my favorite. Right up there with the API Vision Channel Strip and the SSL G Comp. I use this plugin for so many different things. I like it on the drum bus to give it that reverbed out, slappy sound like you hear on all the hip indy records these days. I like to do some cool echo/reverb stereo panning with it on vocals. I like to make acoustic guitars sound kind of weird. It is a really cool thing to add to just about anything, really. It doesn't hog a bunch of DSP, so you can use it for mild echo and a little bit of saturation on a dry track. The controls are very simple and easy to grasp. Once you dive in, the possibilities are pretty much endless. Thanks, UA for making my favorite flavor of plugin!

Unreal amazing on vocals, acoustic guitars, and love love on the drum buss
I have also used the Fairchild as my final bus limiter for TV and Film.

Great plug
Great plug, I have the hardware too and it's very similar. The only one thing that could be different, is the maximum delay time...in a plug this could easy be more than 1s in time.

A Useful Tool
A very useful and fun tool to have on hand. I find myself using it a lot on electric guitars to play up certain parts of the song.
Be warned: You can waste hours and hours just toying around with this plug-in. Too much fun

Two Thumbs Up!
This is a great and useful collection. The AE set to a 2:1 ratio on a drum bus is golden.

Brings the heat!
I have enjoyed experimenting with this plug in, especially drum busses and vocals. Improves the presence of whatever you put it on gives it a sizzle. How's that for technical talk? Very nice auxiliary, something spicy, plug in.

Works Every Time!
If the recorded material is good, slapping this compressor on (when needed) does exactly what I want, compressing in such a way to sculpt the sound and set it in the mix right where I want. Every time.

Lexicon classic sound
I used this plugin on a big project as of lately and it worked perfectly on vocal and everything else. It gave that classic sound that I was looking for.

Oxid Tape Recorder is good plugin
I really love Slate Diginal VTM. But this plugin has a very sweet color. Sometimes you need to use a neutral sound coloring and the Oxid Tape Recorder has a neutral color. So now I have more colors in my palette. Also Oxid Tape Recorder is more convenient to use on trekking.

Brilla en cualquier pista con pequeños ajustes
Me encanta este plugin, me costó mucho comprarlo pero por fin lo tengo, es de lo mejorcito que hay en reveb para mi pueblo de vista junto con las ETM. Son superiores estos plugins.

As expected, great stuff
Nothing can be added that someone before me has already said. Great product and better than any of the other mainstay plug versions of these compressors. Worked for years with hardware versions of these and do these sound like those, you might ask. No, not exactly, but non of the hardwares sounded exactly the same either. I remember stacking 3 different 1176s for a/b in a studio and even though 2 where very close in serial number, they sounded different. I do think these may sounds quite similar to the hardware version UAD used for reference.
