Fairchild Collection
The beauty of character and tone that the Fairchild collection provides is UNIQUE, it is impressive how it handles the sustain of the audio with those slow releases. Definitely the UA Fairchild emulation is ideal for vocals, bass and drums, giving it a punch without crushing the transients. Definitely a must have.

I wasted my money.
As countless people have reported online, I was unable to download the software I purchased and was unable to use it.
There was a problem with the UA connect software used to download the purchased software.
I was using a Windows environment, but an error occurred and it would not even start. I contacted support, tried all the information on the Internet, and even did a clean install of Windows, but it didn't work. This software is rubbish. I wasted my money.

I have a lot of Mini Moog Software products in my toolbox. For me the most authentic mini moog sound comes from UA. Test it and set the effects off for the other products to check the differences.

Silky Strip!!!
I have a ton of channel strips all of which are excellent plug-ins. But the Avalon VT-737 is the silkiest of all of them.. Put it on any or all the buses that you want and you'll end up with an awesome mix!

I once owned the actual Distressor, paired it with my sp1200 which was an incredible combo some years ago. Regretted selling it but I couldn’t afford a second one to get the true experience.
I never forgot the sound and feel of it, however, and I can say this nails it pretty conclusively. I have no complaints and feel it’s definitely collection worthy.

How to avoid a hernia
Keyboard player I once played with get a hernia moving his Hammond B3 to a gig. At the time he could not get the sound he wanted without the actual organ. This sounds so much like the real thing, it is uncanny. Looking forward to exploring all the options. Great presets.

Helps get mixes over the finish line
Just started to use on previously recorded live tracks. The button to disable extensions in LUNA highlights how much of a difference adding the Studer® makes. Everything just sounds better. Very impressed as I play around with the various settings.

Although I’ve worked with an original hardware version of this compressor, this plugin definitely has a “vintage” sound/vibe. In my opinion, tone wise and behavior/response wise, it’s much better than the other plugin versions of the same emulation. The added features are also a great bonus.

Another Excellent Chorus
I use the UA Brigade Chorus quite a bit, for bass and various guitars. The Studio D Chorus is very complementary, having quite different sounds. Great for rhythm guitar. The presets are excellent. Its a great addition to the toolbox.
