Sounds Just Like the Hardware
I've recorded many times with the hardware unit and the plugin captures the flavor of the hardware perfectly. The Avalon has become my go-to compressor while tracking pop vocals and hip-hop vocals.

More of an effect than a tape emulation
I agree with some discussion on UAD forum, that Oxide's coloring is too strong - this can be good or bad, as always, but if you're looking for a subtle tape emulation, Oxide is not the choice and would sound cheap (go for Studer). But if you're looking for tone shaping, it is a great tool.

Sounds like the hardware!
I used to own this hardware piece and I am amazed that this software has the same mojo. Absolutely incredible on vocals, quite frankly it’s just incredible.

I’m stunned that a digital software plugin sounds like hardware. I’m considering selling my Hardware distressor and my other analog gear. Software modeling has become ridiculously good.

Width and Dimension
It just gives my BGVs and Libs that pop in the mix that separates them from the leads and puts them into their own "space"! I cant work with it, its on EVERY mix!!!!

My new favorite compressors.
Kind of like a combo of the ballistics of an 1176 with the tone of an LA-2 or LA-3. They have sounded sick on all guitars, bass and vocals so far. It would be great if the two models were on a toggle like the CLA-76 Bluey/Blacky thing.

Organic Vintage Sound
I got this Chorus Pedal when I registered my Apollo Twin X and it sounds great! I've been using it with my guitar amps and it gives you that vintage organic sound of a chorus. It sounds very close to the pedal. The great thing is that you can use it for vocals and other instruments. Great job!
