Just incredible and eerily accurate to the hardware!
I know first hand that you do not need to use an expensive microphone to see what UAD’s Avalon can do for you. It sounds so clean as a preamp (Unison) and I can’t recommend it enough. No other company comes close to emulating hardware like UAD & the Avalon is no different. A new mainstay for me vocally and even on bass/guitars. Thankful for UAD.

Fantastic on emotional vocal ballads, the low cut option is great - only reverberating the frequencies you want. I use this in almost every session!

I own the BOSS CE-1 Chorus Ensemble for my guitar rig, and this plugin is a god send for the rest of my setup. 1st of all it was free ( the best price), sound quality is fantastic, and did I mention it was free

Love the Fairchild to start with a vocal. Even on a drum bus - the dry-wet option is very helpful. Great Plugin!

Let me preface this by saying I'm a songwriter that needs to create reasonable work tapes for my publisher to review prior to an official demo recording. I am not an engineer and prefer easy to use plugins with great presets to get the sound I need. i.e. live recording either guitar or keyboard with vocals, presets to get the sound I'm after without too much tweaking, then a quick master with BX Masterdesk Classic. I do own quite a few UA plugins but only write a glowing review about a few of them...this is one...
All my simple mixes get a touch of this. Really nice analog sound to the mix.
