Modify the dynamics without loosing the harmonics
Most of the compressors tends to kill the early harmonics. It is NOT the case with the Distressor. You can nuke your track and still add the distortion which makes things just right. One of the most versatile compressors, one of the must-have's in the arsenal.

Great re-creation!
I'm old enough to have had and used one of the originals in the '70s - how else could you cover the Police catalog in those days? Just got the UAD Brigade Chorus pedal recently and I find it to be 99% true to the original hardware and certainly the best software version I have been able to try out. The only (extremely minor!!!) difference is there is the tiniest bit of "grit" missing, for lack of a better word. When coupled up with the EP-34 software, it's a 100% there- a little more chewy/thick. You need to have this if these are the tones you are missing/looking for. Sounds fabulous with software synths, too.

My go to vocal compressor
Nothing sounds like this leveler to me, just an incredible warmth and punch. I have other fine sounding compressors from UAD including the LA 2A, and 1176, themselves fine sounding plugs, however this is the one I prefer on my vocal tracks.

For snare, kicks, acoustic guitar : a must have
Unbelievable how it manages snares and kick, nothing compare. In this application my hardware DBX 160 SL doesn' t do a better job. It' s present in almost all of my sessions, and it' s for sure in the top 10 of uad plugins

This is the sound
It captures the buzz, and the tight bottom that none of the other emulations come close to. It's proprietary, this is made quite clear so I don't see the problem everyone has. If you want the sound of a mini moog, and are a grown up enough to deal with 2 daws, this is an amazing piece of software.

Excellent glueing tool
provides nice harmonics and it sounds real❗️
usually i am using the Whitestone p331 for the purpose…
but on the road or in the box this plugin is great
.
pretty fire my g
Didn’t know this existed till the plug-in came out. Imagine a vari-mu like the Fairchild or Manley but with the snappiness and agility of an 1176. The 175B has a grittier darker texture. 176 sounds relatively hi-fi and modern with a sparkle that’s defined and sharp without being harsh. Manley vari-mu is more sizzly and diffused on the top end. Brings things forward in a crunchy but not annoying way. Definitely the evil but cool twin of the Manley. Sick vibes bro.

Warmth and presence.
This collection of plugins adds a beautiful warmth and forward presence to whatever you put it in. Highly recommend.

Warms up Everything!
I love it, it was recommended by two other studio owners. I've only used it a couple of times, couldn't be happier!
Thanks,

The best chorus
After a few minutes using this chorus, it was already my favourite.

It's magic.
Just turning it on adds instant depth. Put it on your drum bus and it feels like you're in the room. I've got it on my 2 mix and it just makes everything fuller and more natural sounding. Be warned though, once it has been heard it cannot be unheard.....

This is Perfact Choice!

These are phenomenal.
Anything you run through them, guitars, drums, bass, vocals, you name it, comes out the other end creamy and warm. These are quickly becoming my go to compressors when I need to warm up and fatten up a signal.
Very tasty.

Very Versatile
This plugin is great in unison, and provides a nice front in. I alternate between it and the Nieve 1073, depending on the sound source and what I am in the mood for. It also serves as a great insert for many applications, especially bass; it has become my go-to for bass.

Does what it says on the tin
I don't have too much experience with chorus, but this one sounds pretty good. Played around a bit and it is a very pleasant chorus, with lots of flexibility in sounds.

Sounds great but so does the pro legacy
It sounds great but I honestly can't tell the difference between this and the pultec pro legacy that comes on the analog classics bundle for free.
I can only notice a slight difference on the bass trick in EQP-1A in both but honestly I think I should've just taken another plugin that doesn't come in the stock for free.
