I had to buy it, didn't want it.
This was part of the Apollo Heritage edition. I haven't tried it because I wasn't interested in it. And because I didn't know I bought it. UA is so annoying. It lists you all of the ca. 200 plugins, and you have no idea of which of them are demos and which you own. And scroll 200 plugins. Are you kidding me??? All I was interested in, was C-Vox. The rest I cannot recommend. And I don't need the rest for what I record with my fantastic Sound Devices MixPre-3 II.

Smooth
My new favourite Virtual Preamp! Love how it rolls off the highs for a buttery smooth and natural sounding vocal. Excellent!

Best Piano Plugin Out there
I make piano dance music so my main focus is always on piano, this is for me the best plugin out there! the character of this piano is beautiful and the extra options are, awesome just what i expected from Universal Audio! Also great that you can now use it in your own DAW! Working perfect in Logic!

Sounds Good on Everything
Universal Audio Plug-Ins are my personal choice. To my ear they sound a little better than my other plug-ins. The dbx 160 sounds particularly good on my bass tracks.

Great to have
Great product, sounds good especially if you know how to use it. Great to have in your computer. Voice sounds warm and more clear.

Beautiful organ
I love this organ! Better than the NI that I tend to use when using software. It does unfortunately make MainStage a little unstable, not being able to prosess audio correctly from time to time, getting popups with error messages.

Good chorus.
Lacks dry wet regulator.

Sounds identical to the real thing
I was shocked when I first used this plugin. I didn't expect it to be as close to my hardware unit as it was. The only difference I could find was that the input level on the plugin was 0.1 off from that of my hardware. That's a pretty negligible difference; especially since the sound was the same. This compressor is a swiss army knife in the audio world and can be used to make everything sound good. I highly recommend it

As Advertised !!!
I read a lot about the dbx 160 Compressor / Limiter and never found a single review that gave it any disrespect !! And when I finally got it into my studio a brand new dynamic world opened right upon my ears !! It is has and IS every Great thing I read about it !!

Tight
Saved me a bunch of money vs buying the hardware version.
Like others, I wish the interface was resizable but sound-wise it's great.

Very impressive
I used it for my voice recordings for a rap session. One word: GREAT, WARM, DYNAMIC. Very impressed by the well-resolved bass and precise treble without being aggressive. A masterstroke UAD.woaw

Solid
Having tried virtually every model d emulation out there, this one comes the closest to remedying a few issues I generally have with software. This sounds focused and narrow, software tends to sound mushy and too wide in the bass area, losing definition on faster arp sounds. The other issue I tend to have is that software tends to sound thin, especially for pluck sounds. This synth has a full / rounded quality to the envelope, giving percussive and pluck patches more of the snappy but weighted quality I'm used to with hardware.
As for integration into Reaper, opening the interface is quick and doesn't make the session lag at all. Cpu is stellar as well, averaging 2% usage compared to Diva's 15% at 96k. Not sure what you guys did but good lord please make more synths. I'm LOVING having a Model D with patch memory.
