Great!!!
This plug in does everything I want it to do, and I am able to bend it to my will. It sounds fantastic on group vocals, master bus, and pretty much anything you want to put it on. Also not very “expensive” when it comes to processing power. Love love love the Fairchild!!

Such a great classic!!!
I've been in studio's across the world recording in many different styles. I've always paid close attention to what was used on my bass and a lot of times it was an LA2A... Not always the same version but definitely always getting a great tone and sound! I just recently bought this collection at a fraction of the cost of one real unit! Now I'm enjoying the same kind of variety and quality of sound I've loved in all these years of recording!

A classic you need to have
When I was an audio engineering student I had the chance to use the hardware. Out of the many software solution that try to emulate that, I think UAD's 224 is the best. That's a studio classic you can't afford to miss. Moreover, it's also available in Spark using native processing. What's not to love about the 224!

The adjustable mic positions for room life, the reverse verb sound design possibilities and what a piano sound, smooth and natural. Don't need anything else for a good recording environment. Thanks UA! Way to go, thanks to keep the good work done Mr. Putnam.

This is a great emulation!
I love this equalizer. It works very softly and musically.
But I do not like that in the full version of the plugin there is no combined version of EQP-1A and MEQ-5, as is done in the Legacy version. This causes some inconvenience when mixing.
Regardless, I still love this plugin and it's my TOP 1 EQ!

Excellent Plugin!
I can't judge whether this software delivers the same results as the hardware. The plugin makes it possible to add exactly the amount of saturation and coloration you prefer to the recordings. The coloration can be subtle or very superficial. The plugin opens up a variety of design options. It is to be applied to single tracks as well as to a stereo sum. It refines the recordings.

Amazing Plug-In
The Studer has elevated my mixes on a whole new level. I use it on a drum bus and the tape saturation I get through it is unmatched. It will be on my drum bus for the rest of my career, and easily is one of the greatest purchases I’ve made in years (and have purchased countless plug-ins). It’s a very versatile plug-in and can be used on pretty much everything!

I'm not really an organ guy, but had a couple of coupons burning a hole in my account. This instrument is great. The promo videos don't do it justice, as it has so many more sounds than are showcased. Even if you consider something like this to be a niche effect, you'll find a home for at least one setting in your palette. Highly recommended.

Simply blown away with the amount of warmth it gives to your drums, vocals and any other element. Great bias, LF & HF filters to adjust to your liking. Would recommend!

The real thing? Haven't used it
So people usually compare the real thing with a plugin emulation and they start their reviews so. Not me, as I never have used the real hardware. Nor do I feel the need to invest in 2 units costing as much as they do. What I can say is this plugin satisfies my needs of slamming drums and adding glue to a bus. Other uses? sure, plenty. Haven't tried it on everything yet. Sometimes aggressive is the key, sometimes a little goes a long way.
