I thought when I first got this plug in that it sounded off and the repeats weren’t in time, after further investigation and diving into the phone book shaped manual I realized there was 73 samples of latency on consoles Aux tracks , so I moved the space echo to an insert and the echos are now in time , what’s even better is I can move the space echo to an aux track without the latency penalty afterwards since I won’t need the aux track in Arm mode = no 73 samples of latency ! This plug in sounds amazing . Adds a lot of depth and character to my guitar. Thanks uad !

Needs Organisation!
I was absolutely blown away by how good this sounds. I'm still not the best at sound design, so many of the presets aren't really what suit me. Non the less, its sound and versatility is really impressive. My main issue is how presets are organised. You can't filter certain types of sounds such as keys or bass - you have to scroll through them all...

I have wanted this plugin for a while now and finally bought it. Used as a Unison plugin, I have tried it on voice and acoustic guitar and it is just what I was looking for. Smooth and up front with so many options. I will use it in other applications as well. Great job as always, UA !

Instant analog bliss
This preamp turns my Apollo Solo into a pro front end for my tracking. What's not to like? The smoothness, the detail, the grit when pushed hard... the simplicity. One of the best additions to the UA range of plugs.

Better than expected
I say that not insinuating that universal audios products are not good…They are, but often times these emulations on the instrument side of things can fall a little short. The Ravel, for example, is a little too distant for my taste, but it’s not bad. However, This thing is really really good. I would recommend it highly.

Pleasing Sound - Great for VO Work
I've been wanting to buy the hardware Avalon Preamp for many years but the price is crazy and it would be another piece of hardware to add to the noise floor. This plug-in gives you the benefits of the warm, tube amp sound at a fraction of the cost. I still default to the Neve 1084 for my VoiceOver work, but this plug-in provides a wonderful option when optimizing the sound of other performers.

Amazing piece of "digital" equipment
The 1176 compressor lives on top of my effects chain. It is perfect to control those annoying (and potentially harmful) of the original untreated track. And it's soooooo easy to use!

I have never had the privilege to work with tape let alone this machine. I love what this does! I have the oxide tape from UAD and this is my new tape sound go to, not saying oxide isn't good, this just has that flavor.

Best analog sound ever
It’s not a surgical EQ, but versatile enough for nearly any track. It sounds musical and adds a little shine even if you don’t touch it.
For EDM, it’s a must-have. It makes everything real and natural in the mix. There are many Pultec emulations, but this sounds much better than any other. This will be your most used non-surgical EQ, as it is for me.

As an owner of the real unit, I can surely say the Galaxy Tape Echo is the closest emulation I heard.

Cool synth with very playable, ready-to-go sounds.
I like Opal's straightforward user interface and can easily and quickly navigate around and get some great sounds. Especially funk synth basses! The matrix is essential in dialing in everything just right. I enjoyed this synth enough that I made a preset pack for it on killerpresets.com. I hope UA continues to release original synths that aren't emulations of existing products. Well done!

THIS PLATE REVERB PLUGIN HAS BECOME ONE OF MY GO TO SINCE I PURCHASED. IT SOUNDS SO GOOD AND REALISTIC. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT JUST GET IT!!!!
