Every single plugin i own from ua is outstanding. unfortunately not this plugin. if you want exactly that one sound, it's good. otherwise it is not so variable.

Exquisite

This is simply an exquisite emulation. I don't know how the UA engineers get these hardware homages nailed 100%, but I am so grateful for their talents. Crazy good.

Only works in luna

After looking to see which DAW UaD sells this software plugin……. They seem to be hiding the fact that people cannot use it on other daws. Shady business practice. Unfortunately I paid for something I cannot use. Not impressed.

Adds a nice Analog Warm Tone

I have been amazed how oxide tape adds that extra analog warm tone to a mix. Just lightly added and it adds that extra 5% to help complete a mix that’s ready to get mastered.

The legacy version of the 1176 is great. But it is 100% worth it to upgrade to the full collection.

Disappointed

Any chance I could have my money back? Too much mid-range muddiness and room tone. Gets too crowded when playing lots of notes.

Great channel strip

I use it a lot in the unison slot. It is great on vocals and D.I. Bass. Just plain smooth.

Lovely!

This is by far the best sounding Pultec emulation I have, and I have several of the best. The highs are silky and smooth and the lows are thick and buttery. Great on the mixbus for that final polish.

The Best LA2A plugin

I've already tested other LA2A plugins, but the only one I liked was the UAD one. Undoubtedly the best plugins

Definitely the best 1176 plugins I've used!

Thus far a major improvement over the sound of the legacy versions. They seem to have the punch and power that I'm looking for on drums. Great Stuff! and now its available on UADx! Big plus!!
