It's not only one of the best sounding compressors
It's also the most user friendly, which is great for those of us who is first and foremost musicians, but at the same time want a fast and easy way to get the best sound without knowing much of the world of engineering

Love it
Thick and warm, lush sounding, completely indulgent purchase, I got pedals, but the presence of this is just great.

Not the best but still good
Very obvious effect, EQ curves you cannot bypass, and unlinked In and out controls, but great sound for obvious tape effects.

Good Ol' Days
Reminds me of and sounds incredibly like the Fairchild from my glory days.

Very nice
Being new to this, I started with presets which are great and of course easily tweakable. Really adds warmth and power to the recording.

FIRST VCA COMP
Pocos parámetros pero los necesarios para compresiones agresivas que quieras que se aprecien facilmente.

The 160 VU nailed in this plug-in!!
I own a real 161 VU same as the 160 just unbalanced and this plug-in does everything that my unit does. Which is to say that every signal you run through this compressor becomes Fatter!! Even at nominal settings Kudos to UA for really nailing this unit!

Great Emulation Of DBX 160
I found all the DBX 160 Emulations to be rather weak, UAD seems to have something different and very useable in various situations. Wish I had an original unit to compare, would be interesting.

Great simple tape emulator
This is a great simple tape emulator. It is much more simple to use than the Ampex or Studer. Only a few controls and sounds great when you turn it on.

Smash the samples, no digital mush.
Maximise my disco loops wthout the digital artefacts from traditional VSTs, this works. Very happy.

Fabulous Analogue Character
Such a great tool to add that warm tape distortion that I grew up with. Fantastic on guitars, the drum bus or even on the overall mix bus.

No, you can't do this with something else
I tried. For (demo) weeks I tried to match the subtlety and depth of this plugin on an acoustic guitar and a background vocal, using fabfilter, waves, and native logic plugs. The other plugs sounded good but this did what I needed to in the mix; added a little animation and width without sounding like "chorus".

I Love It
I've been EQing my master channel with this, and it's amazing. It just opens everything up. Really easy to use as well.

This is easily one of the best reverbs i've ever heard. Absolutely love the sound.
