I wasn´t prepared for that...
This is a perfectly coded masterpiece. The first time I switched it on it knocked me off my studio chair. I just didn´t expect to be surrounded by the sound of its hardware counterpart. Brilliant work! Chapeau!

Do you need it? Yes.... for sure!
Universal Audio produces some great plugins. Since I have been with this company, I am always surprised to hear the quality of these plugins. These Teletronix LA-2A plugins were modeled by excellent programmers at Universal Audio. These people are super smart at duplicating equipment that cost thousands of dollars back then. Now, we have access to this equipment through these plugins.
I am very happy to be able to experience this!
I also take this opportunity to say how much I appreciate the NEVE 88RS plugins.
FI must say that. all NEVE plugins are a "MUST HAVE" in your arsenal of plugins.

Paired this with an SM7B and omg did I need this! I was using a 1073 hardware clone and I’m done with that, this turned my SM7 to a killer modern vocal mic with a bit of high eq boost and some compression

Got It For Free, But Would Have Paid
I got this for free when I picked up my Apollo MKII and downloaded LUNA. It's easily the best Chorus Vibrato emulation I've heard. I love vibrato, so I'm a tad picky on the sound of it. I really enjoy this one. I've used it on guitars, vocals and keys so far and received awesome results.

Tone, Warmth, Crisp, Clarity, Character ... and everything needed to polish the busses in minimal design. I think no one can make a sound worse with this eq even you go crazy with the settings.

Desert Island Plugins. No.1
Un-Beatable !!!
I use it almost on everything. Drums, Bass, Guitar, Vocal, RearBuss ... It does the job amazing. Taming the transients + Adding Character. what else do we need ???
I can not find any Great engineer that does not use this amazing tool.

Very hand and low dsp usage
The gang controls, which make the changes of one plugin to affect all the other instances of the plugin in a mix session, is very handy. The relatively low dsp usage is also great, and allows one instance of the plugin to be put on every track in the mix possible even when only using an Apollo twin duo for processing. The biggest upside is of course the sound, which can be configured in a wide variety of ways.

GREATA PREAMP SOUNDS JUST LIKE THE REAL ONE
I had the chance to compare this unit with the one we have in studio, it sounds exactly like the real thing. I can't stop being surprised by UAD accuracy in "modeling" electroacoustic devices.

Great sounding emulation!
Easy to use and great on everything (as other wrote Rev A in a LA-2 is simply wonderful). I can say that it's easier than the real one (I own but now sits in the rack waiting patiently for another chance...)

As a guitar player I loved the sound of this chorus but you can experiment also with others sources with great results.

You have to have them... but...
... the new GUI it's not eyes friendly. Sounds very good and you can choice what unit suits best your needs but the parameters are a little too small to read.

I use it everywhere
Simply put it on every channel set it up as described in the manual and your sound become alive, every sound. Swap tapes, change parameters and experiment: not so easy to do with the real one but simply as a click of your mouse with this great plugin!

Better than the legacy versions
Getting the 1176 collection was worth it for sure. They sound way better than the legacy version. definitely worth the upgrade.
