First use: Wow! Just Wow!
I've been a long-time user and appreciator of Ocean Way Studio's room plugin. But this Sound City Studios plugin is NEXT LEVEL! I initially brought in some pro-mixed drums (from purchased studio multi-tracks). A few tweaks and the improvement was near instantaneous. With familiarity with OWS, I found it quite intuitive to make adjustments. The dynamics section is a nice bonus! Making it unnecessary to add additional plugins. This is truly one-stop shopping for room drums optimization!

Didn't bother!!
I was going to buy this and another in the last offer, until I realised it's native only.
I have a new I9 12core with 64gb of ddr5 ram so no issues running this plugin, but I also have an apollo quad and octo and quad pcie cards .
Why did I buy these UA, if I can't use my expensive hardware on new released. plugins .
Another really annoyed loyal customer, who feels let down because you're now chasing the native subscription market.

simply clean , even the presets are amazing.

Sound City gives a slight flavor of Dolby Atmos scenery.
I already owned Ocean Way Studios. There has been progress in some different features included in Sound City. Judging by Sound City's beautiful sound, I think UAD missed the chance to develop a plugin in this category to operate in a Dolby Atmos scenario. Btw, UAD is owing other tools for the Dolby Atmos scenario.

Think This Is What My Voice Needed...
It took the YouTube exclusive promo with the hip hop track to make me pull the trigger on this one. Easy to use, took next to no time at all to dial in tones I liked for myself and others, and just looks nice aesthetically. VERY pleased with this.

Me decepciona que no se puede utilizar con el satélite o con el DSP de un interfaz de Universal Audio. Ya no hay diferencia entre waves y UAD

best plugins in the game
I love the sound on these and definitely dont regret my purchase. A+ plugins, which help improve your sound instantly.
Sadly the plugins have ilok cloud, which requires my computer to be always online, so no production outside for me anymore. Also it has a few seconds of blur when starting up any plugin, which is quite a vibe killer for me.. If they would do the ilok implementation like Soundtoys, these would be perfect.

I've been wanting UAD's Minimoog for a while and it does not disappoint. I love pairing it with the Galaxy Tape Echo and other analog emulators for a really warm and evolving sound. A+

Yet To Know
I ordered a bundle several weeks ago and am yet to access them. I am a Mac Studio user so I have the storage but for whatever reason the UA Connect app is not allowing me to access the plugins. I have tried all of the uninstall and re-install methods several times along with other suggestions. Nothing works besides Luna and my mic apps for Sphere and SD 1. I hit the link on the add to my plugins and nothing happens. I have lost count how many times I have tried. I also supported a support ticket several weeks ago and still no reply. I would love to be fair in my review but o can not speak on anything that I can not r access. Help me resolve this issue and I will do a different review

blah plugin. cute ui, but does not sound good
i expect more from UAD i got this in a bundle and its just not good. The compressor in it is unique enough to use, but the room and mic emulations are no bueno. You can get better room tones with just random IR's from reddit. The eq and reverb are also not good. Eq is brittle in the top end, harsh and not musical. The lows lack impact and depth. Mids are just gross. Chamber reverb is 3/5 at best. If this is the way UAD is heading.... well, we'll see. im also a little disappointed in UAD in general right now because of their upgrade pricing / lack of customer loyalty, but oh well.

Great emulation and lots of fun
I immediately started using this on tracks. Sounds great and really emulates the feel and tone of the original. I've only messed with originals a few times, but this really captured what I had experienced in an affordable and usable format. Has lots of bass too - not weak sounding like many vst synths. Very close to analog sounding!
