Transparency or not, it’s your choice
I use it mainly on buses to clean some frequencies and on synths to help some frequencies to be less sharp

Same creamy texture as the hardware
Used to hire the hardware years ago - hire business folded. I lamented the absence. Considered for too many years the expense of purchasing the hardware. THEN this comes along - with all the colour and texture of the original... I use it to get a sound I can only describe as thicker and creamy (!?) Check it out - it has real character and is SO like the hardware its scarey good.

It’s awesome
It legitimately sounds like recording in a large room. It makes drums sound huge, acoustics sounds spacious, and the cabs are great for electric guitar. It won’t be the right thing for every track in the mix, but definitely a good tool to have in the box.

A great room
I'm still discovering its potential, but so far so good. It's the room ambience I always wanted to achieve with convolution reverb, but it's also a lot more thanks to the re-mic option, which is not something I'll always use, but it's been great with piano and sax.

Best bundle ever
This has bean a huge leap in my mixing processing possibilities. I think UAD products are the closest option to mixing with analog gear. UAD Native option for those who don't own UAD hardware like me is a total game changer.

Great all around compressor
I use the API 2500 in multiple ways, in the mix or for post mastering. I love it more for mastering its glues everything together and with the tone section really adds depth. I say for the sale price you shouldn’t need a review to help with the purchase JUST BUY IT. Otherwise this is an amazing plugin and I highly recommend it!

Just Native?!?!
You should release it in UAD format as soon as possible, together with all your “Just Native” products. This strategy will backfire you guys.
