No Support
I was excited about purchasing the UAD Mini Moog Plug-in.
However, when I tried to download my plugin for my UAD 2 Apollo FireWire Interface through my UAD Control Panel, I was prompted to upgrade my UAD v 10.1.1 Software. After I downloaded the upgrade to V 11, I could not do the “Allow” permission in the System Preferences. So I have been going around in circles trying to Uninstall, Reinstall the UAD Software for my Mac Pro tower running macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and I have been without my Apollo Interface and Software for over 2 weeks. I have tried to reach a human through the UAD Support and all I get are Bot responses with no Solutions. I have tried to reach a person at UAD through their phone numbers and left messages but to no avail. I am completely disappointed and frustrated. I have spent several thousand $ on interface and plugins. Apparently UAD offers No Support anymore.

Does what it says on the box!
I have other emulations of 1176, and they tend to have more bells and whistles . As is the case with the UAD La2a, but it seems to be the UAD ones that I use and prefer.

Why not both?
I am using this as well as my Moog Grandmother. There’s no substitute for hands on, knob per function of the hardware, but this is no slouch along side it!

A magical glue feeling.
A magical glue feeling. If you pass this through a bass, ordinary sounds will emit beauty. Really awesome. The hardware that is said to be a masterpiece is probably not a lie. It gave me an opportunity to become interested in the real thing.

Sound: fenomenal. Absolutely no notes
Sadly, in practice it's virtually useless as it swallows your CPU like nothing i've ever seen in all of my career. Even my heaviest mastering plugins ain't got nothing on this frivolous bauble. Just a real dang shame. Luckily i bought it on a sale but i feel bad for people who pay top dollar for Sound City Studio. Brand loyalty: damaged

Fantastic!
I'm a beginner in recording for 3 years. In search of better vocal recordings, I have tried various plug-ins and found the best one at the time. However, after using this historical masterpiece's plug-in, I learned that what I had done so far was not the best. After all, what is said to be wonderful is wonderful. VOXBOX hardware is the only option I have for the next purchase for vocal recording.

…it may be a good fit, it may not, but dragging down the star rating over UAD’s current marketing strategy doesnt give anyone insight into the plugin itself.
Which for me is great! So far I have only been using it on drums but after experimenting with different configurations I found it enhanced my drum sound and gave me insight into why certain records recorded there sounded the way they did.
I can’t ask for more than that.

Vintage signature sound. Only.
Either it does the job, or not. Sounds very vintage, has almost no controls and rarely gets used. Got is as part of the bundle, not finding it useful at all

Convincing extension to my small recording rooms.
My drum cabin is really small but good sounding and this plugin is the perfect extension. The clue is the feature list, like mic moving flexibility, eq, and there's a big thump up for the compressor curves. The GUI is fun to work with.

This is one of my most exciting plugins to put on a track that doesn't really have much character on. Plus gradually mixing it in on a bus can really add some nice glue to the sound

Simply Amazing.
This is pure gold.
when you don’t have the possibility to record a source in a proper room, or if your room is too dry, too small, if you need a better 3D definition and the ability to put anything anywhere..and you don’t want to spend hours on tweaking any convolution tool parameters, stay focused on the music..
well, i think that tool might be the answer.
It is to me anyway.

Works on everything
I’ve been trying many emulations, that one is my go to, because it’s a plug & play type of tool, and i appreciate not spending ages on tweaking knobs & stuff.
If only the Gang sync function had made it to the native version, i’d have put 5 stats hands down.

Doesn’t want to load. Seems to have a licensing bug that won’t let it load. Still waiting for tech support to fix that

I have tried every fix available but none of the UAD plugins I have recently purchased work with my DAW, I'll keep trying to get the GUI to load, I have no choice but to persevere, this is my first look at UAD software and was looking forward to a postive experience.

Impossible à faire fonctionner
Cela fait plus d'une semaine que je n'arrive pas à joindre le support d'uaudio, ils ne répondent pas aux messages que j'ai envoyés via l'application uaconnect ou via le site web.
Aucun des produits obtenus via le bundle du BF ne fonctionne.
Mon ilok est fonctionnel, je possède un nombre incalculable de librairies d'autres marques qui fonctionnent sans problème.
Là, tout semble valide, les licences sont bien visibles dans mon ilok cloud et pourtant les plugins sont floutés avec un message comme quoi le produit n'a pas de licence.
C'est inadmissible de ne pas avoir de réponse du support !
J'ai acheté le bundle du BF à 50 balles pour rien si ce n'est être frustré et en colère...
Ce n'est pas sérieux de traiter ses clients de la sorte.
