Smooth subtle cosy? Very effective
I was told to get this from some one I respect in engineering circles. We were mixing down some tracks and there was harshness on some channels so this was the go to recommendation. It has a smoothing out type of feel a bit like the brainwork refiner (thats just my opinion) but it was better in that when pushed it has some nice subtle compression also which is hard to describe in words as there was not really any distortion more a warm together feeling of a sound
I suppose you could simply say it does exactly what people have been saying for years what putting to tape does to a sound so yes another perfect emulation for the UAD boys.

Wow, Warm, Punchy.. Love it, Easy to use .. Just slap it on Dial a little or grab a easy Preset. Instant Love is what I Hear. Simple Results!

Awesome! Period.
Breathes life into any instance. The options are great. Like most reverbs it uses quite a bit resources, however this is so much more than any reverb. Definately a MUST HAVE plugin.

Oh yes.
First thing I did: Threw the MP on a drum sub group that was lacking a little 'life'. Instantly made the track sound much more brighter and 'in your face'. Just what was required for the track. An awesome plug. Didn't give it 5 stars due to the DSP instance hit. But other than that, another fantastic EQ emulation from UA!

I used to mix a whole song, placed on every channnel and wow! Another cool vive to the mix came out from this!

Class A Compressors
My favourite tools to Compress Vocals, Snares , Toms , Drum Busses and much more !
I had a few different emulations of this world class compressors but none of them sounded like the ones from UA.
The sound compares 95% to the Hardware and that speaks for itself...

An Absolute Bargain
Got these at the bargain price of £35, the sale price was £75 then I had a £40 off coupon for registering. Fab sounding compressors, lovely warmth and smoothness, been using it on everything form vocals to the master bus. Use quite a lot of DSP though or I would have one on every channel. Keep great deals like these coming.

I you don't have it - get it
I've been using other emulations of the Pultec EQ but this one is kind of diffrent in a good way. You cant mess it up with this EQ Collection. Great stuff.

This fairchild compressor sounds amazing... once you get a handle of the time constants the sky is the limit !!!

1176 Limiter
Simply, great. Is my first option with almost everything.
With my electric guitar, it push it with the right touch.
Excelente with my fender jazz bass. Both guitar and bass, are pre amplifier with an external preamp (similar neve 1073) and then i plug into the line of my apollo.
The performance is great! i am very happy with the result.
