LE PLUS "GROOVY" DES PLUGINS !
Il a remplacé mes LA2A et autres 1176... Il à remplacé le Pultec et mes deesser.... J'enregistre et je mix tous les jours aux studios BLAXOUND™ Paris - www.blaxound.fr ;-) et il amène cette chaleur, cette précision et musicalité que je mettais 15 ou 20mn à obtenir avec une multitude de plugins, sans compter la chaleur du compresseur qu'aucun de mes plugins égal même certain de mes compresseurs hardware ... Je l'utilise sur n’importe quoi ça sonne "beautiful". Merci UA ! :-)

This "Unison" thing is for real!
Wow! I simply can't believe the sound of this plugin! I have been using UAD products for about 6 years, but was still a sceptic of the unison system until I demoed this plugin. This thing sounds so darn analogue and sweet and full! I have some great outboard pre's to choose from, but have been bypassing them to use the Voxbox plugin. Even my most discriminating vocal client has become a fan of this plugin! Thanks again UAD!

Just like the hardware
I have the Warm Audio hardware version of the 1176 which is supposed to be pretty close the the actual 1176 if the reviews are accurate. I wanted to use it in more than 1 instance at a time and tried the Demo of the 1176 and was floored. The plugin is virtually identical to the hardware.For a fraction of the price this is a great deal and you get 3 different versions of it to boot.

Gives my vocal a warm bright sound
Just upgraded from the Legacy version.... and YES, there is a big difference to the better, cant understand why some says it sounds the same?
I have two wishes though...
1. Why not work the same way as with the Legacy with the ability to put all units together with one click? With one preset-list for them all?
2. It would be even nicer if the user-interface was based on a photo from a real "rugged" unit, I know it doesent affect the sound...just the feeling. Otherwise, five thumps up :)

It's really chorus
I'm so happy cause this amazing effects back on sale. I recorded the bass guitar with analog chorus (Roland clone) with vibrato effect and I said the Brigade Chorus is very close to really analog chorus. I don't need to record bass or guitar or electric piano with analog effect, cause I have Brigade Chorus pedal.

Beast Mode
What is there to say, really? I love the whole collection but I use the LA-2A "gray" the most. It adds its characteristic "warmness" to pretty much everything it touches, especially vocals, and it can brign a bland mix back to life and give it a nice lil' punch. The Legacy version is decent but this collection is next level sh*t.

A wondrous density
Indeed, this one satisfies a tone that I have been searching for for sometime now. More than simply compress, it imparts a density and tone that works wonders on vocals and bass. Thank you UA!

Great tape sim, especially for the price.
I'm a sucker for tape plugs. I've tried all the competition, and this one is my go to. I'm looking to buy the Ampex and Studer plugs as well, because they have a little more flexibility, but the Oxide is still a phenomenal plug on its own. I love putting this on my Drum Buss because it tends to make the low end a little fuller and the top end a little more "silky." Real nice, buy it!

I use this collection on several different things. I love using them on vocals. The frequency response is great and it's definitely worth upgrading from the Legacy version.

FANTASTIC EMULATION
UAD nailed the tones of this compressor. We have one at the studio I work out of and the A/B comparison is outstanding. Love the warmness they add.

Wow.. This plugin sounds so good. Never herd to real deal in real life. But I defiantly know it sounds just as good as the real deal. Mic pre is great and + with the compression and eq... I'm very glad with this plugin. Thanks UAD ...

I don't know how close this is to the hardware, but probably it doesn't matter to me as they sound superb

The Real Deal!
The digital world has been attempting to emulate the magic of analog tape from its inception. Those of us that came from the days of tape have learned to accept digital recording for many reasons but in reality the magic of tape has been missing. We have tried many of the tape emulation plugins over the years but until this one became available none added the characteristics we heard by recording to tape. If you don't have it, buy it today. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing !
Absolutely blows my mind how good these LA-2A units sound. Been using them on a couple of dance/electronica tracks for vocals for a client. Very easy to set up and behave like the 'real thing' as near as I can tell - have been making music for over 30 years, never owned but have used the original gear many many moons ago.
At GBP 115 for all three 'versions' it's a total no-brainer - grab this bargain now !!

Is getting better and better
Wow! Many years ago I had the first generation UAD PCi Card using the Legacy version of LA-2A. I used it on almost every possible track. Now, with my new Apollo Twin USB, I thought I will give the new collection a try so I bought it right away. Yes, I know it costs a lot, but what a difference!!! Really love the Grey one, wich brings my voice to a new level. The combination of Unison 610 mic pre and LA-2A gets me the feeling of singing in a $10 million studio.
