Lexicon Love!
This is one of the few hardware units I have not used but I must say I was impressed with the thick lush sound this plugin gives. The plates sound wonderful on this plugin, great for adding some space to any instrument. Now all UA needs to do is an emulation of the Lexicon 240 and the Lexicon PCM 70 (both of which I have used many times and always loved) and come out with a lexicon collection bundle.

Swiss Knife and Coloration Tool
The Manley VOXBOX really shines on vocal sources. With subtle settings the plugin adds a beautiful finishing touch and a certain analog vibe. The preamp is beautiful and adds an interesting character and tone. The plugin offers some nice options for coloration. The quality of the harmonic distortion might not suit any source, but where it does, it adds a unique set of sonic qualities. As with the hardware version, the VOXBOX is a character box. You either like what it does and it suits your recording and mixing style or not. I love the grit it can add to sources and I really like what it does in terms of coloration on the master buss. This thing suits my style and I like that!

Amazing!
I have used the LA2a hardware my entire career (21 years). Every studio I have been to has one and I always make sure to try it out on something. I have always love the LA2a on vocals, bass, acoustic/ electric guitar, I have even used it for brass and string instruments with great results. When I tried the plugin I was thrilled with the sound. Plus when you purchase the collection you get the 3 different versions of the hardware, each giving its own unique character and sound. I have been using the plugin for a few months now and I'm still impressed at how authentic they sound. Thank you to the great minds at UA for completely changing the game of "in the box mixing", what a great time to be alive!

I have been waiting for UA to release this plugin for a long time and now that I have it I am not disappointed. This is one of the best bus compressors out there. It adds a character to your mix that no other buss compressor can. Having the API-2500, SSL G Channel and the Neve 33609 gives me all the options I need for character and tone.

I have never owned the hardware version of this plugin but if this software version is anything to go by,
then no wonder The Fairchild has become a standard.

More useful to me than the 'Real thing'
I have never been a fan of this Piece of gear, this UAD plug in changes that.
I would like UA to retro fit the HR control to all plug ins please, this is singularly the most useful advance since the 'mix/blend' control.

API 2500 Bus Compressor
I've been using the Waves 2500 for years, so I was excited to see a UAD version. My expectations were far exceeded. This is as close to the hardware than anything else I've heard.

Very great update. Although honestly I use the original a lot still because of low CPU hit. It already was so good. But this is definitely an essential addition to your UAD library.

My Go To Compressor!
The head engineer at a studio I interned at put me on to the Bomb Factory version of these plugins. They were great, I loved them but then I found out about the UAD Fairchild Legacy and newer versions! These are wayyyy better than Bf's version which in my opinion add too much saturation to the sound. The UAD version can be easily controlled to add light compression without the heavy saturation.
I literally use this plugin in all my vocal tracks, love the warmth and clean sound it gives to them!! A+

You can't go wrong with it. Absolutely fantastic. I mainly use on vocals and acoustic guitar but it sounds great at almost everything.

Magic Wand
I don't how but it works great on anything. Mix bus, bass, drums, vocals, guitars etc. Simple to use and really sounds beautiful. I got it with my Apollo twin at October Sale but really worth to buy. Thumbs up for the price/performance monster.
