Great vocal channel strip
I really like this in unison mode, great for tracking and getting a natural not overly processed vocal sound. I used to use a an Avalon 737sp with my TLM-103 and have found I can get a comparative sound using this plugin. Great if you want a little more control than than 1073.

Yes, and wait till you use it on everything else. It has massive wide spread usability and you'll know where when you patch it in. Everyone loves it on Bass too. Low DSP - Fat Sound...Warm & Punchy! This is one of the UAD TOP 20. If you have the 33609 get it. NO OTHER Compressor can do what the 160 does. The Virtigo maxed out comes close. If could only use one compressor on drums....this is THE ONE!

The perfect paintbrush
This machine it’s never invasive. But help you to find and explore the correct dynamic and nuances of your instrument in track. I enjoy with this plugin and in my opinion has a surgery precision. Amazing like you reach clarity and detail in every situations. It’s not easy to use. You must read the manual to discover the logical of this powerful tool.

Choose your spaces
Someone tell about it: “gorgeous vintage sounds”. Yes! And I can add “gorgeous modern sounds”. Because you can obtain a clean and lush space through the many available parameters. I can realize concert halls for my orchestral mock up or intimate acoustic sessions with piano and voice. Easy to use but deeply moldable this 224 it’s a very powerful machine.

Oh how I love this vocal Channel strip
Took a couple of weeks to get used to, but this Plugin is amazing and has a great sound. It doesn’t work like a basic plugin. It’s very sweet and soft but packs so much power. Best channel strip I every used personally. Very inspiring UAD and thank you for having sales cuz people like me love to catch a sale.

A nice addition to the stable
This is regularly findings it way in to my mixes now. I'm finding very good for adding a little bit of width to mono synths. I would probably not have bought it, but it was a very nice surprise when I registered my new satellite.

In the pocket
I first experienced the Empirical Distressor Hardware at Prince's Paisley Park studios and immediately put this plugin in my wishlist. When I plugged this in on my lead vocals, the focus and warm was just like the studio! I threw all other compressors out! Even on my vocal buss, all the voices were in your face and I could still dial in the dynamics. Love it!
