Capitol Mastering Compressor
I did not want to write a bad review for this but personally I feel like this unit just isn’t up to par. Needs revision.
Calibration seems off / finicky in about every way.
You cannot get a decent amount of compression unless slamming the front end and dropping the threshold or lowering the headroom knob and by that time it goes into saturation / distortion pretty heavily.
Every other UA plugin I own is practically flawless and I take no issue with any of them.
If I could request a refund or trade this plugin for another, I gladly would.

Vizuálne a zvukovo nádherný mastering kompresor. Najlepší aký vlastním. A verím, že čoskoro UA spravia aj verziu pre UAD-2 PCIe karty a Apollo. Bolo by to veľmi milé pre nás, verných zákazníkov

Unique and Inspiring
I love the Hitsville Reverb for Boom Bap Hip Hop songs. I am not one to use 50 reverbs, 20 choruses, 14 delays, 18 compressors and 9 eqs in a mix. Get a few good plugs, learn how to bus, keep it simple, everything becomes cohesive and harmonizes better together. I use this as I unique verb, for an ENTIRE TRACK. Minus percussive elements like hats. Yeah, I throw Bass in the same reverb bus as snares, kicks, vocals, keys, strings. Eq the send signal of different elements, keeps it all from getting obtrusive and distractive. This plugin creates feeling that is unmatched. It has it's own eq settings as well, I use that section more for a tone. My signals are usually balnced by send volumes, and eq group prior to hitting it, just sound magnificent.

This reverb adds space, tone and dimension in an unobstructed manner. You can make it discrete or obvious in your mix. Fantastic. I got two for 99, this was the extra with the Hitsville verb at first. Quickly becoming my favourite verb plug. I have both EMTs, the 224, Hitsville, Pure Plate and Capitol. Capitol is getting the nod very often combine with one of the other for many mixes.

WOW!! just wow!!!!
I'm not a guy that writes reviews, and don't get me wrong I love my other UAD plug-ins... Wasnt really expecting much from this plugin which came bundled with others I wanted. But to my surprise it is amazing, the clear vintage sound, the simplicity and great presets, make this a must! Thanks, UAD!!!!

Really Pleasing!
I didn't have experience with this EQ prior to buying this plugin, but the sound is really nice on program material and mix busses. Enjoying it greatly!

quality of sound is fantastic from the compressors and other products, i just hope they include resize on more of there plugins so see we can see better which was a deal breaker on some of the plugins which alot of people were talking about. the api channel strip was terrible and i didn't buy it and other vintage plugins

Can't live without it now
I didn't know that this plugin would become a staple for me when I bought it. Literally can't do anything without it now!

Great for paralleling your vocals!
I use the blue face on a separate aux to parallel my vocal chain! Gives my vocal some color. I also use the legacy RevN to parallel my music bus ! I never really used it on any main track because I feel it adds to much color so I parallel it .

Great for parallel compression!
Love to use this on an aux to parallel to my drum bus! It’s first in my chain then it goes into an MV2. It gives my drums an extra amount of grit without adding too much voltage! I was able to purchase this during the holiday sale

Just the best room reverb plugin every created
UAD Sound City Studios is without a doubt the best Room reverb plugin every created. I have used it on Drums, pianos, guitars, vocals, Strings, brass and synthesisers over the past few weeks and the dimension it adds is second to none. in both Remic and Reverb mode it is so useful and has such a wonderful tone. Truly a Game Changer

Fantastic Sound!
UA keep doing these crazy deals where you get outstanding plugins at crazy prices! I picked this up in the 2 for $99 deal alongside the Sound City Studios plugin (look at the regular price of either of these) . 8 wanted the Sound City plugin really, but this was an absolute hidden BONUS! It sounds great. Really clear and punchy if needed. It's a new regular on my mix bus and is actually that good...I'd buy it even if it wasn't on sale! Thank you once again UA!!!
