I love this pedal, sounded Amazing right at the start. Which was surprising because most Chorus plugins take way more time than needed to sound good. Kudos for suppling presets that are actually useable.

My rating, triple E, for essential, excellent and efficient! I took the 176 mix in parrallel processing on the drum bus and "boom" the big slap in the face! on vocals, guitars, keyboards we enjoy !! Congratulations to the whole team !! tools now essential for working in the box

The 1176 Classic Limiter Collection plugin just works on anything you apply it to. It can make your sound be smooth, aggressive, in between, you name it. Press all the Ratio buttons and SMASH the signal. There's no wrong way, there's only the 1176 way. UA always giving us the best!!!

Colorful fast and punchy compression
Well it is really evident, as they say, that the UA 175B/176 collection captures the essense of more 'modern' 1176 compression in a more colorful Fairchild-like rendition. It's got the right amount of punch and smack, with loads of faithful warmth and grit. An interesting aspect by it self, as these qualities seems so well integrated into the overall sound outcome. On an electronic drum-bus it almost feels like modern dancemusic is taken back to the tubey sound of the 50's.
Needless to say, these compressors are done so perfectly right in the wellknown UA manner, that it almost doesn't surprise anymore!

Good coompressor (only in a sale)
I really enjoy the wide application of the compressor. The DSP impact is 28% which makes very expensive on my UAD2 quad. It's nice on parallel usage on the individual drum track. Due to a failing uad2 OCT PCI card, I'm currently limited to really small setups. The biggest drawback is the default UAD price.

Always use this eq on master, by default, before ampex. Best master eq!
