Bad Customer Experience
It's absolutely preposterous that you have to buy the same plugin again if you want a pretty minor update. I don't think anyone ever really felt like UAD cared particularly much about its customers, and this sure hammers the idea home yet again.

I love this channel strip. In order of signal path…
It’s a great mic pre, a bit similar to the vox box
It’s a sweet bass DI that rolls off both high’s and lows gently, adding warmth, giving the bass a nice mellow placement in the mix.
The composite section is really slick, flexible especially with the fast button.
The eq is REALLY gorgeous sounding, especially the high frequency knob - has a beautifully smooth air to it. I’ll be reaching for this eq for intimate/warm lead vocals.

Wow, great & flexible compressor.
I have many of the UA compressors. I love this for a simple and flexible compressor with a bit of vibe.
Works great on almost anything: vocals, bass, busses…
It works really well as the integrated extension in Luna - nice to be able to dial it in just in the mix window and use native processing rather than the UA DSP resources.
Its variable compression ratio and switchable options really allow a lot of compression choices from one unit, but it also adds a bit of clean, warm vibe.

I am used to the Waves version and people always told me there was a difference. I was so surprised at how much better it sounds. Waves is very good but this is just perfect

This is definitely one plugin every home studio needs!
Such a nice TAPE emulation and I have a lot of various tape plugins. The Studer A800 is really getting some love in my mixes....it is really well designed, has awesome functionality and the warmth and sound is next level. Very versatile and honestly you may not know you need it until you put it on a track.

I demoed this on a while and then immediately bought it. With so many presets and parameter choices you can't go wrong. Whether you use presets or not it's easy to get that sound your looking for.

Can be used for practically any instrument and vocals. Gives a warm complex shine and a sence oc movement in the sound.

Unbelievable sound. I put this gently on the master buss and it just brings everything to life in a very sexy, velvety way. Secret sauce, no doubt. One of my favorite plugins.
