Versatile plugin
It comes with Spark which is perhaps better value. A great product where I got fast results without too much faffing about.

Irritating iLok cloud system
I really want to like this synth but although it worked whilst the trial version was still valid, the moment that expired it tells me I don't have a license even though I bought it and activated the license in iLok. It won't put the license on my computer, only in the iLok cloud. The same with PolyMax. Bought it, now can't use it and I have contacted UAD twice via their support page and have yet to receive a reply which has now been over a week. If I don't hear anything soon I shall be demanding a refund for both products....

The King Of All Pultecs
My first encounter with UAD plugins now that they are native and OMG, they do not disappoint. So pleased they have had a sale and made them affordable for me. This Pultec blows every other I own out of the water, so much so I have uninstalled the rest. Don't need them now I have the best.

Compression With A Real Magical Feel
If you are familiar with The Beatles' Revolver album, this is the compressor they slammed most sources through. It has an indescribable classic sound that is simply wonderful.

Perfect Tape
I have to echo the other reviews here and say i's certainly one of the best tape plugins I've used. If you set it right when live recording tracking on all sources, you get some wonderful classic tape artefacts that just transform digital recording into something special and wonderfully, classically, analog.

I am sorry that I have not replied sooner with my review of my products, but I was too busy enjoying them!!
I have the Ox, the Opal, the Electra 88, the PolyMax, and the Waterfall B3.
All of these have exceeded my expectations and have become an integral part of my work. You have delivered extremely good audio products that are stable and immediately accessible through their well thought out interfaces. That is an amazing accomplishment and is the reason I will look forward to eventually buying more products from you.

This is far and away the best tape saturation emulation I’ve heard.
I’ve used many tape saturation plugins. Some really good ones. None make my tracks as “3D” as the Studer does. Put it on every track. An Ampex on the mix bus. ——- Bliss.

Not bad analog emulation
Sound good compared with other developers' analog emulations, but need some adjust in the engine to get the powerful imperfect, warm, fast, and power sound from real classic analog synths.
