A standout in a saturated market
Saturation plugins are plentiful in the world of audio software; every company offers at least one type. How do you pick the right one? The Studer A800 is great for saturation, and more. The A800 plugin allows you to dial in your saturation to suite your tastes, from tape types, motor speeds and bias calibration, to being able to EQ the different tape head modes. A great plugin and definitely work checking out.

A learning curve but classic usable tones once it's understood
Differing from modern styles of reverb, the Lexicon has a timeless tone to it with a slight learning curve to acclimate to how it works.

Have a whole bunch of these, one of them is very good, but this one is awesome, plus like most of the other plugins comes with a lesser modelled bonus in this case the mono 660.
I hate the iLok but this review is for the plugins themselves and these are fantastic

I Wasn't sure about buying these...BUT
I didn't need any more compressors did I?
Turns out I did.
They're great. I love vintage stuff but if you don't have the budget, space or patience for the real thing, plugins like this one make it like we have the gear in our studios.

The Pultec Trick
Am loving these Pultec EQs. I had not see emulations of the other two models and they really complement the EQP 1A. Once again the iLok is very annoying, feels like the constant calling home slows my DAW, but the actual plugins are wonderful

Wonderful, subtle warmth + little bit of saturation
I saw the ad for this on Instagram the day it was launched and just bought a a different compressor from a German company. But, I kept coming back, checking reviews. Glad I did as it gets used on everything, sometimes just Master Bus its very subtle, which I like.
I also like the fact it has no rival maker of the same model.
Plus UAD presets are always good and comprehensive and always cover instruments or sound situations not covered by other companies presets.
They are great place to quickly start and then tweak from.

These 1176s are the real deal
Loving the 1176s - I really like these bundles of different models UAD does. The GUIs are spot on too unlike some other brands.

660 version is great for solo stringed instruments, and mono bass synths.
