Gobsmacking cool for drums
I bought UAD Sound City Studios to hopefully bring some life to the drums on an album mix project. Boy howdy! I am working exclusively with the API Vision Console extension and that gorgeous piece of kit coupled with Sound City is just wonderful. Add to that having the ability to reconfigure drum room setup as mix is playing- I tweak and listen til I go that's IT!
Even with well-recorded drums I add a bit of Sound City on my parallel bus. Musical magic.

Ravel Grand Piano
I have many piano virtual instruments. I was looking for something a bit different, but the Ravel piano falls a little short. The samples are good; however I especially don't like that you have to be connected to the internet and logged in to UA's site in order to use it. I prefer not to connect to the internet with my DAW unless I'm installing software. Had I known this I would not have purchased it. I can't say it really adds anything special to my VIs. I'm disappointed with UA's Ravel and this may make me less likely to purchase their software in the future.

Incredible Instrument
I've always played Victims by Culture Club.
No other piano has ever come close to that Classic Steinway Sound on that record .this is stunning on everything you play on it ,the depth of the bass gives me goosebumps.

I was about to buy a PPG Wave 2.0 or similar but the OPAL gets the sounds and vibe that i was looking for out of that particular synth. Great Addition to my arsenal of sound. It also includes some very well programmed presets that are usable in so many contexts. User interface workflow is also commendable on this instrument.

Colorful and very musical
It is an equalizer with soft curves that is very musical and colorful. It is excellent both in mixing and mastering.
Combined with the Manley Complete Bundle, it generates spectacular results.

This is a GREAT Plugin
I use this plugin to achieve pure "room reverb". I find I don't need any other reverb plugin. I use it on vocals, and drums. It's awesome.

My Go-To for Pretty Much Everything
This one is the real deal, makes anything you put it on sound better. Can't speak on the accuracy to the hardware but can speak to the fact that it's one of UADs best plugins, in my opinion. Definitely a must have

I can't judge my new product because ua connect is not workingg! when i open ua connect it says: "an ilok issue occurred. uad plugins will be available after this temporary ilok issue is resolved. please wait a few minutes. then restart ua connect. (restart)" when I restart it says: "an ilok issue occurred. uad plugins will be awaibable after this temporary ilok issue is resolved. please wait a few minutes. the restart ua connect. (restart)" and so on and on and on. Can You Please Help?

good analog sounding Synth
Like and use this one a lot. Yes, to be online its a little bit anoying, but for me at least its ok. I only work in my Studio.

Very Nice
I bought this because I felt I needed a better eq for the master bus, and this really is better than what I was using. It sounds amazing to me, and I really like the m/s capability on the master, or any other bus that needs it. The other eq that came with it is also good, I used it on a drum bus and it sounded great. I have not tried it on vocals yet but I'm betting that it's gonna sound good to.
I'm not a big fan of stepped eq's and set frequency eq's, but that is starting to change.
