needs graphic upgrade . " ua should makeplugins with resizable GUI "
Does UA ever upgrade a plugin in time? . ordered but forgot the GUI is way too tiny in 2020 ..i cant find it on my 5 k screen ..next to a distressor, the LA3 have the same size as one knob on distressor .,soundwise i think the dbx is better sounding and more flexible.. at same price level.

Great compressor!
Great compressor! I especially like the pre sets which get me close to what I need depending on the instrument I'm compressing. Easy to use despite its intimidating facade.

Great compressors, I love the LN and AE on drums and vocals. Prolly my most used plugins from UA. A must have.

What kind of magic!!!!
Okay I've owned this piece of hardware for years! I won't give you the sob story on how I lost this piece but I will tell you I was going to buy another one. And here UAD comes along with the plugin and all I can say is wow! The Avalon vt-737sp is and always will be a Mainstay on hip hop and R&B vocals and yes it is a clean Channel strip but it does not take away from the versatility of this unit plus one of the things that used to drive me crazy about the original Hardware unit is that you had to turn it on let it warm up with the plug in your ready to go from the start and that's priceless.

Eye Opening
Let me first start off by saying UAD has done it again when I first started using this I was thinking of it as a simple yet effective 1176 compressor but UAD decided to allow you to simply turn the compressor off and you can still run your signal through to add extra colour pure genius! The Rev a is a mainstay on vocals for me.

Great Space Echo emulation
Sounds very analog and convincing. Was surprised to learn there's another Roland Space Echo name brand UA plugin. I really don't see how it can be much better than this one. A ton of great noises to be had from playing with this one.

Realistic Analog Chorus
This one was offered free for signing up for the UA mailing list. But its worth paying for it for sure its so good. I own a ton of guitar pedals. This outdoes plenty of chorus pedals out there. Chorus usually isn't my favorite effect but once I obtained this I've been putting in on almost every track in some way.

Fantastic plugin, but the graphics is outdated on both Mac and Windows.

Really very musical
Am a professional guitar player/composer/studio owner and producer. As an "old" guy I thankfully kept most of my cult gear which i owned over the years.They are much used, well looked after and in pristine condition. They will stay that way since virtually all emulations of my gear via UA have rendered them in my studio cupboard. I love that the emulations also reflect my own "dial a sound" philosophy, i.e. they sound virtually(pun intended)the same, they only buzz and hum less and require no maintenance. The Tape Echo Emulations are wonderful, musical,free your mind as you dial em und use em. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Each one of these artists have an unmistakable sound. With all one thing in common. Their tracks include a Grand Piano. And this my friends is the closest you'll get without recording it yourself or going to a studio and paying thousands. The main key to this instrument is how expressive it is.... Absolutely Beautiful. And i own a lot of piano Vsts. Buy this, Its worth it.

It's the best sounding reverb I've ever used. I was blown away by how natural it sounds and how versatile it is. You can easily create a drum room if needed. Sounds great on the mix bus as well!!!

I have Vt-737’s in 3 rooms and have been using them consistently for years. ( mainly on hip hop and r&b vocals ) The only major difference here is that the knobs and buttons are on a computer screen instead of hardware. Other than the Huge price difference , a plus to owning this plug-in is that you don’t have to warm up or change blown tubes...

Works like the Real Avalon PreAmp
I was working in a studio with an Avalon Preamp for about 9 months. Now that I am in quarantine and I don't have access to the studio, I bought this Avalon Pluggin to continue my work from home. Wow I am impressed, its like working with the real one!
