Excellent Limitier Collection!
These are my new go-to limiters when recording and mixing.
I really like how they sound different, each has it's own character.
The 'No Ratio' and 'Attack Off' are especially useful for just adding the character of each version without compressing anything. Just to add a bit of dirt to it.
I only need to further experiment with the new 'Multi Button modes', but the 'All Button mode' is excellent by it's own. Sounds great on vocals.
And as a sign of customer dedication the collection is reduced in price for those who purchased the original 1176 in the past, very nice!

Makes mixes sound like records.
That's it. Just buy it. :)
This is just filler to reach the 50 character minimum. :)

I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!
I've tried the other tape simulation plugs out there, but none comes close to the real thing but this one. I used it on Terry Hunter's House Remix of Marsha Ambrosius "Far Away" availble on T's Box (Traxsource.com) Truly Amazing! The Old Saying Is True, You Pay For What You Get........ UA Plugs BANG!

Great Tape Algorithm Plugin
This plugin adds really nice body to vocals and lead guitar. I tried it on a Texas Blues song, and I decided it was a keeper, so I went and purchased it.
Thanks UAD for your continuous research.

A-800 more than just glue for your mix!
This product does just what it says it will and at level of convenience that is beyond it's affordability. Mixes that just sit together nicely with that beautiful tapeness, that melted togetherness as though the sound was burnt in together like an analogue photographic print but, also with the option to just run the signal path through without tape gives things a great analogue sound.
I never thought this would have been possible for my home studio...now I am printing my effects before leaving my project studio for final mixes as I am too disappointed when I find they don't have the UAD plugs. With the lack of big money on the majority of projects this gives me the option to up the production level by leaps and bounds !

So glad the 1176 was revisited
Great plugin. All the later gen plugs are fantastic and I use them all the time! I had an ok 1176 clone but these sounds better. I haven't heard the real thing but this is a useful tool regardless if it is authentic sounding.
I've always found compressor plugins to have no personality and generally make things sound worse when volume matched. However, no surprise for a uad 2 plugin, The 1176 joins the uad fatso as a useful compressor.
Very happy.

Very Useful!!
These are really usable tools. If you have a working knowledge of the three different revisions on the original hardware, then you can begin using the plugins based specifically on that knowledge! This gives some of us old enough to have worked with all of these evolutions of the 1176 a nice starting point to work from! Nice job of modeling some real studio workhorses!

Mmmmm LUSH
Is it me or does your right hand automatically go & insert this plug onto the mix bus, even before you've thought about what you're gonna do HAHA!!!!!:)))) Glue, glue, glue, simples!!! BRILLIANT, was a bit pricey but then again its like buying the hardware version for a steal:)))))!!!!

finally buy the best plugin
I happy with that plugin. It's one of the best plugin. Many time ago i worked with analog tapes and now i have same feels that i had with early. Amazing, just like the real thing.
Thanks.

It is just a DREAM to have such a great sound!
it is just AMAZING that you cannot compare anything because it sounds COMPLETLY different!
I never checked the original hardware but I`m sure that the plug in is very, very, very close to it!it makes my work so much easier!

1176 Collection
The 1176 emulation by UA set the trend and has been a great assest to my arsenal.
But the introduction of the Collection bundle has lifted the bar with 1176.
The REV A is fantastic even if you use it just for the input stage, especially on crunchy guitars as it adds a little character.
The REV AE has a different flavour with the lower ratio (2:1) which makes it a lot more subtle.
The REV E is an improved take on the old LN and man it has saved me some serious dosh to buy the originals. Especially as some are as rare as rocking horse poo!
Well worth the purchase!!!

Wow - impressive!
I've just bought my UAD satellite and had a play around with a few plugins but this one has got my attention instantly. Just tried it in an existing busy mix and it sits effortlessly and is so easy to use. It took no time to get the sound I was after. My review may be a little premature only having played with this for around 30 minutes, but I just know this is gonna be good.

It's Definitely Glue Like - Like a Glue Gun For Your Audio
I've been reading a lot of my colleague's posts describing this plug as processing 'Glue'. Welp, count me in for that description. Very first session using the A800 last night: Acoustic Guitar (Yamaha Jumbo - C12 - Arsenal Pre - Protools), Vox (Same Chain), Kick and Snare (Yep, still the same chain).
Instantiated this plug as the first on each track after tracking was complete. Proceeded to remove about 90% of all other processors. The hype is true, its that pretty.
Make sure you have enough UAD chips available - Especially when used in sessions with many softsynths, since they eat stereo instantiations of the A800.
K, now go Demo it

An incredibly deep plug in
The more I work with these two plugs, the more versatility I discover. They are a bit power hungry, but well worth the trade off. I find myself using this on both individual tracks and the master buss. They are precise and can do very subtle changes or dramatic EQ shifts depending on need. I really like using this on acoustic guitar.

This is nice !!
I am working with the 224 plugin for almost a year now and I must say I love it. We also own the L480 hardware and compared it to the 224 plugin. It comes very close to the hardware but the 480 seems to sound more "present" in my mixes. However, at a fraction of the cost it still is a high end Lexicon !!
Hope that UAD will emulate the L480 one day. I was surprised that even the system noise was emulated in the plugin although the hardware is noisier LOL. As you may understand I always switch of the noise but it is a nice feature all the same :-)
Greetings from Holland and keep up the good work !!!
Peter.

Great sound!
A wonderful reverb I used. Use less process on the uad cards, and easy to set up the sound you want, This reverb sounds great on anything'
now I send it to vocal, drum and other instrument, I got the space so easy.Simply amazing.

Subtle and effective
This is a studio basic. The effect is subtle but essential for providing the familiar warmth of tracking to tape on a quality machine. I recommend it, especially in conjunction with the Ampex 102.
