Love it
Really like this plugin... adds some nice warmth to tracks. Only complaint is that it's a memory/resource hog. I usually have to disable about 3 or 4 other UAD plugins in order to have enough juice to run this one. I am using the Solo Laptop card on a Dell Studio XPS with 6 gigs of ram. Add the end of the day, I really like this plugin and recomend it..

Unexplainable
I demoed this plug for one about two days until I realized I could not mix without it anymore. This is grate plug for drums and Vox. Thanks you guys for making such grate product. If you have a bad recording then this won't be good because it will bring up lots of noise.

If you want analog ITB this is where you get it
Just by adding this to your channel strip you will already feel the different, very subtle but effective glue, and excellent warmth added to your music. And best of all, it does all that it does in the most musical way. Love it and use it on every single mix now.

A little sprinkle of magic
This Studer A800 plugin brings back memories. Used judiciously, it definitely has an audio comfort food vibe. A luxurious glue that helps bring back cohesiveness to the finished mix. What i didn't remember was the very interesting side-effects it does to imaging, It widens the stereo field, but very naturally and clarifies the musical parts. For what it does, and it does it really well, it's a great plugin. Highly recommended.

Sounds better, Less complicated to use
I had purchased a new Lexicon PCM 96 several years ago but it did not operate consistently and wasn't user friendly either.
After the unit was returned to where it was purchased, i was eventually introduced to a Lexicon representative which was not able to refund my three thousand dollars but offered me a partial list of plugins of the reverbs that were contained in the PCM 96 which didn't even include the effects that were included in the hardware unit.
The Universal Audio Lexicon 224 sounded much better than the PCM 96 plugins that Lexicon provided me as compensation for a faulty hardware unit. And all of the different verbs were easyier to access.

The best bass and drums compressor by far
I used this compressor on a side chain buss on my drums and the same on my bass on a side chain to make everything more punchy. This is the best compressor by far, it's giving me the sound that no other compressor can do

Amazing
This verb sits perfectly in the mix even very wet.
It works on almost everything.
Very flexible/programable.
Luscious!

finally-
after years of regret for having sold my hardware version of this old box, i was excited to hear that it was being modeled by UAD... i use this thing all the time on bass and drums. takes me back every time i instantiate it! thanks, UAD, for being so faithful to the sound of the original!

Great results!
Been loving the mojo that this plug has given my mix chain. Out my Apollo's 8 outs into my Dbox then through my Avedis MA5's for the make up gain then back into the Apollo to then hit a Massive Passive - Shadow Hills Mastering Comp and finally the Ampex. I feel my mixes now have a great deal more weight and legitimacy (especially in the low end) thanks to this plug. The glue and punch that this thing provides is also undeniable. Overall I'm wrapped with the whole mixing workflow since the Apollo Dbox combo and the 102 is just the icing on an already delicious and satisfying sound cake! Definitely pick this one up.

LA-3A is a great leveling tool for audio application
Teletronix® LA-3A Classic Audio Leveler Plug-In is among the best plug-in tools from Universal Audio. it alway gives a quick result and audio quality to my mixing or mastering tracks.

Nice, simple, effective
I used the original hardware version. This compressor is a good go to sculpt bass an kicks. Must say, can't tell the difference from hardware....

Beautiful EQ
Beautiful sounding EQ. I used the demo on an album. Loved it. Kept thinking about it, missed it, wished I had it, so I came back and bought it. For me, this excels at bringing out the best in pristine clean material. Acoustic guitar. Synthesizers. Voice. And in the mastering chain.
Some EQ's, maybe you only use for what it does to the top or the bottom, or how it pulls out good mid-range, but on this EQ each band is excellent. The curves that Manley chose are exactly what you need - distinct, right on the money each in their own way.
One of my favorite UA plugins for sure!
