About Studer A800 Multichannel Tape Recorder Plug-in
This is a really good simulation of Studer A800. It's always so hard to repeat an analogue existence in digital world but I think UAD did it. It's saturation is very realistic and so easy to understand how to use. By the way, ''ganging'' feature is genius to emulate 24 channel input on the same deck. Thanks for all UAD team, from customer support to engineers!

So many uses...
These compressors really do live up to the hype. Each compressor has a distinct sound, but they all work great on a variety of instruments. Recently, I used the AE with a 2:1 ratio on my drum buss, the Black Rev E on the guitar bus, and the Rev A on individual bass tracks. These comps really added punch, clarity and space to my tracks. Fantastic job on these compressors, they are outstanding! Thanks UA!

Best EQ ever
I have a Manley Voxbox, so i'm used to the Manley sound.. I can't tell the difference between the eq on my real Voxbox and this. Useful beyond reason, transparent as hell and it has that "something more" that i've been looking in an plug-in eq for a long time.

I simply love this plug in, its a very specific type of reverb, that i never heard in other reverb plug ins. Excellent!!

Unbelievable - I love it!!
Wow, i must say this plugin is worth twice its price. It has done wonders for my mixes, tight bottom end and smooth highs. I now spend less time tweaking the EQ's on my tracks. Digital process has come a long way.

Astonishing
This plugin is astonishing. What it does for vocals alone would be worth the price of admission (silky smooth highs and ear pleasing mid presence which can be so elusive before can be dialed in in seconds). In addtion, it seems to work on any source I place it on as well as providing a fantastic in-the-box mastering tool.
Honestly I wouldn't have thought this possible from a software EQ based on previous experiences. Simply stellar in every way.

Best Gear
I was short with money but after starting the demo I had to buy the Lexicon 224 plugin. I compared it to other great sounding native plugins. In my opionion the UAD plugin is the best sounding reverb plugin available. I cannot live without it anymore. I especially like the 'default' program. It makes lead vocals pop out of the mix.

A Superb Tape Plug-in
I decided to purchased the UAD-2 Satellite Duo and among a lot of interesting offered plug-ins,I decided to purchase the Ampex ATR-102.Since my main work is Matering Disc related,I was impressed with the final sound processed. My laptop,a MacBook has not presented any issues related while I was hearing the final mix with Pro-Tools 8.0 in my home Studio.

Love it !!!!! The soun the quality only problems I'm having with uad plugins is the latency, however it feels good to have plugins like the 1176 that sound so damn good

Obvious Difference to Oridinary Ears
Since purchasing the Ampex ATR -102 it has been a part of my mastering chain. I have been mastering since 1991 and I have never purchased a device or plug-in that has made such a difference. The character that it adds to a master is obvious to the trained ear because we know what to listen for. The true test was with my clients who has chosen the master with the Ampex ATR-102 as part of my mastering chain, every single time. I'm a believer. A good Mastering Engineer knows how to utilize the best in both digital and analog platforms . We have to make choices based on what is needed for that particular song or project. Ampex ATR-102: Universal Audio has done it Again!
For starters, I was at best a novice at using the ATR-102. I had never used the original mastering deck. I watched the videos on uaudio's website and started getting familiar. At first, I only heard a very subtle difference in my sound, then I thought, hit the damn tape deck hard and drive that needle into the red. I could then hear the impact of a powerful mastering deck. I dialed it down a bit and with some tweaking of the various tape reels and speeds found my sweet spot(s). This deck is incredible and has changed my sound easily for the better. Wow! Thank you Universal Audio Again!
