Worth it for Sound City and Topline Vocal…
But you get so much more! However…be warned these products will eat your processor…so understand that going in. If you can work around that…the sound is legit!

SSL 4000 E Channel Strip
I have worked with many SSL 4000 E clones, but none of them gave me such a clean sound without picking up unnecessary resonances. A great plugin for coloring instruments and vocals in solos. After this purchase, I completely abandoned clones, now I prefer exclusively the UAD version.

Manley VOXBOX Channel Strip
It works incredibly well with vocals. I was surprised at how gently it boosts the vocal treble and very delicately controls it with the built-in de-esser.
It deserves to be on every vocal track in a project, as well as in the final group of all vocals. A well-designed compressor will hold your group together perfectly.

UA plugins are spot on for me and my ears! I love them, every one of them that's I've downloaded and the Manley Tube Preamp is right on par. Giving me warmth and attitude when I need it and it's also subtle as well. Very nicely done guys!!

Excelente Channel Strip. Con un preamp que te da un color analógico. Un Eq para darle el toque que cada uno busca y 2 tipos de compresores que puedes elegir usar según tu necesidad en la mezcla.

UAD Ruby '63 Top Boost Amplifier
I really like the plugin. It's very convenient that all the settings are on one tab, you don't have to waste time getting from the amplifier settings to the cabinet settings. I really like that there aren't a bunch of variations of knob settings, you sit down and write music, and don't sit and twist knobs for 2 hours. Amazing.
I would like to be able to turn off the built-in reverb in the plugin settings, so that when switching presets (I use a third-party reverb), I don't have to turn the reverb to zero every time.

I love uad Fairchild, for me it's the most greatest mastering limiter mix drum buss comp mixer processor enhancement, for glowing glue the multitracks music mix on the master mix buss stereo out, for to glue everything together, I'm so excited and happy for the results, I love you more uad

need to try and learn, so much character but not for beginners. never love the SSL G-Bus Glue, cause API 2500 is much easier and punchier!

Learn how to use that for 2 weeks, and it's a killer for my drums! you can shape your drum set so quickly and sounds great. love 560L, quicker than 550L, but 550L also powerful!

Impressive
I operate a hybrid audio signal processing route. This consist of UAD Twin Finity 710 Preamp, Heritage Audio Successor Compressor, SSL Fusion hardware. The UAD SSL4k Channel Strip I use in post to retain my hardware color and this plugin is clean and effective. My only issue is I have upgrade to Apollo gen2 because my hardware signal aren’t retain after routing though Apollo Twin duo Mk2. While the plug-in is impressive Kaizen is always a conversation. Modernize the GUI or HMI.

Marshall sound without hesitation
If you turn up the gain, you can travel back in time to those days. I was surprised by the fat and glittering sound, so much so that I lost track of time and played it over and over again.

I worked with Hardware for a few years and loved using it for Voices, Bass, Guitar and now having it as a plugin is simply fantastic!

I would like to see UA improve the Waterfall rotary speed midi options. I am used to Air's DB-33 organ, where it is easy to assign the rotary speed (slow / brake / fast) to an expression pedal, so you can play with both hands and change speed with your foot (left in my case). UA defaults to the rotary speed being controlled by the Mod wheel (so you have to take your left hand off the keys to modify it), or you can assign it to the sustain pedal but then it only switches between fast and slow. No "Brake".
Another thing is some people complain is about harshness in the upper frequencies. I notice that as well when the Vibrato is on, or when some of the upper drawer bars are full extended. I compared it to the DB-33 and where the Waterfall is sometimes harsh in the upper frequencies, the DB-33 is also harsh in the lower frequencies.
When it comes to the Leslie, however, the UA Leslie is far superior.
So I like this instrument very much and with little effort, it can be made to sound superior to the DB-33, but the lack of expression control for the rotary speed is a downfall that I bet would be issue to fix.
Also, so many people want plugins ported to Spark. I'm the opposite - I would love to be able to stack the Waterfall Leslie in Console, after a Unison amp plug-in, but that's not in the cards right now. Sure, I could add the Leslie in PT but then I am working with latency issues which is what Apollo handles so well. Native stinks when its the only option. We have paid a tiny fortune for these DSPs and I would like to use them to their max.
