Awesome!
These plug-in's are great. The 1176LN is my go-to for my drum buss compression. I use the non plug-on version of hte 1176 quite often and it's safe to say these plug-in's get you 80% of the way there. They are EASILY the best plug-in emulations available though. Worth the investment.

Magic
This plug-in rules. I wouldn't say it's a replacement for mixing down to a 2 track, but it is pretty dang close. I love this plug in on my master buss when I can't mix down to my Otari MTR-10. Love it.

I have wanted to pick this one up for a long time. My only regret is I wish I had gotten it sooner. The presets are pretty useful and you can tweak until you get what you are after. Great sounding reverb. This is now my go to instead of the EMT reverbs.

Edge and character
The API Vision Channel Strip is a totally different kind of beast compared to the other Unison enabled plugins. The API delivers the sonic edge you won't find in the 1073 or 610s, it gives you the perfect tool set for driving rock productions and edgier sounds. No matter if you use the preamp section only to add some edge or if you tweak the dynamics to bring out the character in a source, the API will deliver no matter what. Great stuff! Can't wait to see more channel strips coming... hopefully the SSL 4000 or the VHD preamps with variable harmonic drive from the Duality.

I just love those plugins where you can just put it on a track and it sounds better. It's like magic. From a more technical aspect, it's not exactly like the real thing. But it is by far the best tape emulation I've tried.

Instant Classic
The Manley Massive Passive is by all means a modern classic and an invaluable tool during mastering but just as useful during mixing or for sound shaping purposes. The sonic quality is brilliant and the presets are very useful as a starting point. If you are looking for tight low end, cut through mids and smooth top end you have found the plugin to achieve just that!

Fairchild Tube Limiter Collection = Awesome
If you looking to add some color/resolution to your mix, then I highly recommend this plugin collection. I have used other variations of this limiter and this is (I don't own the real thing) but would have to say this is the closest.

Use it as the first ... then add other plugins to complete the mix ... then bypassed only the Ampex ... Ok now you have understood ...

Api Vision Channel Strip
Hola, he usado este plugin para grabar audios de Baterias y tambien Bajos, y la verdad que me he asombrado de los resultados que he obtenido, es una muy buena herramienta para el estudio de grabacion!!!

This is an amazing plugin worth trying.
This is a fantastic plugin to use on your master bus. It makes the mix wider and the warmth is amazing. This i cant live without. Its one of my favorites and it will stay on my master in the future on every mix.
