Fairchild Tube Limiter Plug In Collection
This Fairchild Tube Limiter Collection adds so much character
and depth that I can't live without it.
I use it on acoustic and electric guitars, drum loops and percussions

They nailed it. Awesome Analog goodness!!! This is how plugins should sound. Silky smooth filters. Brings out the fundamentals very nicely.

A bit to Subtle for me
I use the studer on my bus'es. It's very subtle, and I think it only ads a little colour to my mixes. But overall, my mixes sounds better than before. More a fan of the Ampex ATR.

I just love this plugin. While the Studer A800 is more neutral, the ATR-102 brings all sorts of colours to my mixes. Especially when used on master bus. Only problem I have is rewinding the tape ;-)

If you can only have one top-shelf reverb....
This is probably the one to own. Extraordinarily nuanced. The interface is appropriately complex and you'll need to learn it to get the most from this plug, but the results can be breathtaking. Wow!

Glad I purchased this
Like the Ampex, it's best when used in the proper context, rather than a carte blanche application. Moderately applied, I like what it does for tracks that can benefit from a bit of warmth, although I don't use it as much as I imagined I would. Still, it's a great sounding plugin and a useful addition to ones sonic palette.

Simlpy the best Unison Preamp!!!
What the hell???? I can not believe my ears...i was fighting with all the other preamp plugs to get a clear and super crispy sound in vocals but in high input levels my sound was clipped and oversaturated! And here came the API VISION... My recording HEAVEN..!!!! Unbelievable clarity and presence..! My vocals came upfront and here I was! But I didn't stop there... My bass got power and extra presence, which made the mix extra punchy and powerful..!!!! Can't wait to use it in other sources, too!!!! Surely my main preamp from now on..!!!! GOD BLESS YOU, UA!!!!

Powerful tool
Used carefully, it's like having an old friend helping you. Although I used different machines, back in the day, this plugin delivers the goods. Very familiar results. It's not for everything (what is?), but is a great tool when used in the proper context.

A real improvement over the Legacy version
I find this collection far more usable than the Legacy version, in terms of providing results that noticeably enhance my product. The range of impact can be anywhere from subtle to 11. This plugin is a blast to experiment with and sounds wonderful. Highly recommended. At the sale price + coupons, it's a steal.

Great Plugin !!!
This is a amazing plugin. but also use a lots of UAD CPU.
I run 8 stereo Manley EQ and each CPU use 60% resource. it can't spilt the CPU to get more EQ.
Anyway still a Great plugin ever since.

Fantastic presets
Controls are a little intimidating but the presets are fantastic. Makes the product instantly useful.

love the lush reverb sounds and room ambeniece nice presets to get you started took so time to getting use to the controls but after a while you get use to it

A sculpting dream

Can't believe the difference this makes on my tracks. the LA-2 is simply amazing. I've used it on several different voices, instruments, genres -- blues to bluegrass -- and it's buutah! The silver and grey are great too. Haven't had a chance to use them as much yet, but the silver was killer on some acoustic guitar stuff I tracked. My favorite plugin so far.

Coolest compressor ever??
Without question the Fairchild has a reputation that precedes it, and not without reason. Instant vibe on any source. Personal favorites include piano and vocals. This particular emulation stands shoulders above the "competitor's." :)

I'm a fan of anything with two knobs that sounds amazing. As always with UAD, the emulation is unparalleled. Love it on acoustics!

One of the best UA plugs
Combine this with LA-2A on a drum bus and you're in heaven---you don't need the hardware. You need this. Top 5 UA plugs. Lot's of options, from subtle to squashing. I know some mixing engineers who have a uad card just for this. Good CPU to performance ratio, doesn't cash your system like the also awesome 1073 and Ampex plugs.

Works just like it should.
The hardware LA-3A has always been one of my favorites for taming guitar transients. The plugin - while not as round somehow - still performs how I need it to and has been on every session since my purchase. Bravo!
