Warm plugin
I've used the Studer in the master track on film mixing and everything get glue and warm. Good inversion.

I don't have word to define the quality of this plugin. Just pass the sound across of the plugin and enjoy as you never did.

Compression for color
Works best for adding that grit and color for tracks. Once through the 1073 best if run through the 1176 .. Closest plug in emulation to the hardware..

Seit ich dieses Plugin nutze, will ich meine Vocals nur noch damit recorden. Der Sound ist fantastisch und sehr flexibel. Der einzige Nachteil - er ist sehr Ressourcen-hungrig.

added value compared to legacy version
Compared to the legacy plugin, this one noticeably changes the sound of the source when engaged (in a positive way). I also demoed the Pultec EQ and compared to the legacy version, but couldn't really tell which one I liked better. The LA-2A is definitely worth the upgrade (plus you get 3 different plugins with different characteristics).

The best Chorus plugin in a new outfit. Eminently suitable for all tracks and instruments as well for vocals and backing vocals. Movement and vibe to get and keep excitement.

This will transform your recordings
I upgraded from the Legacy versions included with my Twin USB and I have to say that these plugins will transform your experience in recording vocals, bass and even guitar - it just makes everything sound better immediately. On Vocals it is spectacular and I will never go back to tracking without it - these plugins alone justify getting into UAD - outstanding!

UAD are drug dealers...
I'd heard fantastic things about the Massive Passive plugin so I thought to try the 14 day demo... My demo has expired and I genuinely cannot live without it now. A must have on a master buss and just gives that expensive top end sizzle without any harshness at all.
UAD are drug dealers in the sense they give you a taste of the best stuff around - to the point where you can do without it! Fantastic plugin, great company and a must have for the mix bus.

My new favorite Chorus!!
Simple and effective. I've been using this just straight up on vocals, or busses to add a bit of depth to guitars. I don't know what Studio D originally sounds, like, but I know that I'll be using this chorus for the rest of my life!
