Best compressors ever
These new plugin models really capture the distortion characteristics of the hardware and are so versatile. An 1176 is my go to compressor for anything from kicks, snares to bass, guitar and vocals. Even as a stereo unlinked compressor working as a bus compressor for groups of instruments and vocals. You really can't go wrong with an 1176. And having the ability to choose from 3 models all over your mixes is just heavenly.

There's nothing else like it. It can get a lot of character or, if you want to, very, very clean and transparent. The De-esser is AMAZING.

MANLEY MASSIVE PASSIVE EQ
This is my first time experimenting with the software emulation of a Massive Passive. I can't say it sounds just like hardware, but it's definitely a sweet eq. IMHO it's really not the best in a mastering environment, but much better suitable for adding clarity and stereo width to vocal and instrument busses. This could work as a finishing eq to add a layer of transparent, digital sheen to a drum bus but there are better main eqs for drums, kits, and overheads and honestly, any other individual mono or stereo instrument. In the context of busses this really shines but on a full mix, it doesn't work as well as a Dangerous Bax or Bx_Digital. I really wanted to love this one due to all the hype but it's still an excellent choice for the right situations, just not the best.

Несколько месяцев использовал legacy версии-потом решил купить обновленные-с удовольствием пользуюсь обоими вариантами-старые более нейтральные по звуку, новые-более окрашивают-разные выпуски по-разному.

Great lush sounding reverb. Very simple and straight forward to use, which is how I prefer plugins to be, especially effects. I prefer it over the other UAD plates.

The best plugin I own
I was a bit skeptical at first buying this one because of the price, but this plugin has been the best investment. Everything I've put it on has been absolutely astounding.

GREAT COMPRESSORS
Having the real thing I have always liked the sound of the UAD emulations, even the "old" ones that came with the original UAD-1 card. They a "liquid", very fluid "analog" sound and feel to them I haven't heard on any other emulation from any other plugin maker. The UAD-2 are a huge improvement and therefore, I use them just about in every mixing session.

GREAT EQ
While it would be unreasonable to expect the same three dimensional sound of the real thing, this plugin works and reacts like the original, producing the same effect. UAD did an excellent job of emulating the Massive. I use it on the mix-bus or for mastering application mostly.

Always loved the hardware units, especially on Bass Drum, Snare and certain vocals......This is giving me a similar feeling and sound.
