Very realistic!
It takes quite a while until you really can handle the 224 if you are not so familiar with those lexicon remotes. But once you understand the philosophy behind its surface, you dont want to miss its fantastic capabilities again. A must have!

Big little thing
My first impression was: Oh how pathetic it looks!! Hard to find it again once it got lost between other open plugins...Really, it needs to be scalable! OK - the original was a tiny little box, but...Under the little hood it sounds as you´d expect it from Universal Audio: Big! Great on drums. I definitely would use it more often - but its guy stops me from really loving it. Call me crazy.

Damn!
I tested this masterpiece of emulation on our pre-production. After 3 Days of the demo I was sure, the distressor is a must have!
Used it for scream- and shoutvocals and to thicken up the bass in parallel compression.
Cheers

Great limiter for all kind of audio material
The basic legacy versions impressed me, but these make the difference. Great limiter emulations, nice work UAD!

Manley Massive Passive EQ Magic
I'm still new to the MMP EQ but have used it on the mix bus of several tracks. UA plugins are unique. They've managed to capture the analog sound of vintage gear and offer it to musicians using digital platforms. Thanks for the Manley magic.

Not too chorusy.
Never been a huge fan of the chorus effect, especially when it’s overdone. Too much chorus can make things sound out of tune. This plug in allows me to just add a touch of the effect for some depth on the low end, and a little shimmer on the top end. When used in stereo, it can add some extra width as well. All in all, when used properly this is a great plug in. Just handle with care.

Brigade Chorus Pedal
It's very useful chorus pedal. The sound is familiar of real Roland chorus.

個性が強いコーラスだと思います。
普通に使うよりは飛び道具として使った方が面白いかもです(笑)

Studer® A800
Sweet and silky.
I like it.

It's very unstable
I sent email to support team and re-install UAD 2 twice, it still doesn't work. Some of my session could be opened if I insert Manley Massive Passive, but most of my sessions are not. The whole session will be no response after insert Manley Massive Passive.

All of these are starting to sound the same to me...
This is a great plugin, but not all that different, sonically, then every other compressor plugin UA has.
It's good, but not my "go-to" compressor.

Just "Ok."
These are so subjective that I hate to leave my .02, but for my money this is not as good as the original TDM Fairchild plugin.
It's "ok", but nothing more. I updated, loyally. But not impressed.
P. Gharapetian
fantastic
as good as you're going to get to the real deal.

Best tape emulator out there
I have used plenty of tape emulators available for free and paid for.
They all claim to add the "analog magic warmth" but when running tone / noise testing on them they certanily don't add anything special.
I was recommended to try Oxide Tape Recorder and all I can say is WOW!!!
best tape emulator out there. Just having this on you channels / buss channels really adds colour in ways you would have to creatively eq to achive. Once driven on the input you get even more flavours..
For the price and what it does it well worth it..
Simple to use and just what you want at the start of any chain.
Thank you UAD for creating this plug .. life saver
