needs more control for signals
Love everything but in using it at local studio I just think more options and controls are needed to make it useable as much in a mix. I think this could be controlled with compressors and saturators and eq. I'm not sure about this one.

Synth is stuck in demo mode even after purchasing.
After I purchased the demo, the minimoog stayed in demo mode. I'm still seeing a buy button in the UA connect app and on the plugin itself. I reached out to UA support, but I ended up having to chat with a bot and it's been over a week and they still haven't got back to me. I'm combing boards for a solution, with no lucky. It's been a very frustrating post-purchase experience.

Great Synth, but terrible License scheme
When you like to use this synth offline (with a live performance or in an offline studio) this expensive synth is not a choice to make. The synth makes terrible noises when it is not connected to the internet. Although the synth is great, it will because of this never be extensively used like all other software that depends on an internet connection. No good for musicians on the road!

Great Sound CPU Intensive
This plug-in sounds amazing! However, it's so CPU intensive that I'm only able to use one or two instances. CPU spiking occurs all the time and I'm experiencing stuttering when I play back my track. I am unable to use the chamber or compression effects because of the CPU issues. Please fix this problem. Once fix this plugin will be amazing.

Sounds come to life
The amount of life that gives this plugin to your tracks is amazing. It's easy to overdoit, but from subtle sound city space emulation, to extreme 3d production tool this has served me great.
The one downside it's the CPU usage, but I understand the price my CPU has to pay to get that space emulation with all the extra tools.

really impressive tape tones & vintage characters. would love to see more of these types of products from UA - esp for compressors! to the previous reviewer - why on earth would you need a mix knob ? and the automatic output gain compensation is v impressive.

Use it on masters for saturation!
I give this 3 stars, would be 5 if there was a Sharc/UAD2 version. Not being able to load it in the UAD console seems like a major oversite, or perhaps lazy on the developers part, so that's why it's 3 stars.
Anyway, the sound of it is AMAZING. I find it super useful for bass and drums if I use it on groups but on a master it does some serious saturation that sounds very clear/thick. Being able to track with it would be nice, I hope UA listens to all of us and makes it available for DSP

Sounds great! But there are some cons.. seriously cons.
First, it's great color box. Sounds very good! Same sound that we have in Studer (Sweeten), ATR-102 (Warm), 1176, etc. OK!
Cons - where is mix button?? Really, guys?
Output level in essential version? too much..
Tone shape knob?
99$ for it is too much without these knobs.
199$ it's just insane.

For the first sight I didn't want to buy it. But on the 12th day of trial peroid, (after using it in two new songs) I was in a trap... :-) No regret!!! Now we are best friends. Thx!
