The final gloss for the mix
This plugin really does give that final gloss to the mix. The ability to change the tonality of the mix in many ways, using different tape formulas, tape speeds and configurations, assures that the mix will be complimented in the best possible way. I like to put this plugin on the stereo out and mix into it. The only downside is it’s price, but it’s well worth it.

as owner of an old Raindirk Concord, which is still efficient, the use of this API, or NEVE , OR SSL plugs, all from UAD, both together they bring me a complementary touch

GREATA PREAMP SOUNDS JUST LIKE THE REAL ONE
I had the chance to compare this unit with the one we have in studio, it sounds exactly like the real thing. I can't stop being surprised by UAD accuracy in "modeling" electroacoustic devices.

Spitzen Sound, einer der besten Channel-Strips
Absolut top klingender Channel-Strip. Klingt immer gut, kann aber keine Billig-Mikros oder schlechte Aufnahmen glattbügeln. Wirkt Wunder, wenn man das Mic oder Instrument trotzdem über einen Pre Channel mit dezenten Einstellungen in die DAW einspeist und nicht 1:1. Der Manley lässt sich erheblich besser „dosieren“.

Really a fun plugin, sounds great and interesting to use. So many options, so little time!
A real candy store of effect options with lots of little details to play around with if you choose to. I thought I got quite a bargain for a really amazing plugin.

I love to have many options and I own almost all the unison plugins but this one is my first try when I have to experiment with something strange (but not only)

Great sounding emulation!
Easy to use and great on everything (as other wrote Rev A in a LA-2 is simply wonderful). I can say that it's easier than the real one (I own but now sits in the rack waiting patiently for another chance...)

Nice for guitars but not only....
As a guitar player I loved the sound of this chorus but you can experiment also with others sources with great results.

You have to have them... but...
... the new GUI it's not eyes friendly. Sounds very good and you can choice what unit suits best your needs but the parameters are a little too small to read.

I use it everywhere
Simply put it on every channel set it up as described in the manual and your sound become alive, every sound. Swap tapes, change parameters and experiment: not so easy to do with the real one but simply as a click of your mouse with this great plugin!

Difficult to find in the real world but amazing to use as a plugin!
Unfortunately I always saw tape machine in the corner of studios that now are ITB but I'd loved to play with that machine... Now you can and you can easily make changes very difficult on the real one. Put it on the master channel and your mix will be more live and sound great.

Better than the legacy versions
Getting the 1176 collection was worth it for sure. They sound way better than the legacy version. definitely worth the upgrade.
