Good Collection Of Tube Compressors
Last year I wanted to buy Virtual Tube Collection by Slate, but this UAD collection is good.

Nice Saturation
I love the Saturation Effect this plugin give you. I would have given it 5 star if was the full End chasing for mastering. Unfortunately you still would need something behind this plugin to get Mastering standards for End Production. Still an overall good plugin.

I waited too long
I finally purchased the 1176 collection a month ago. Why I waited?
Don't ask. I really liked working with the plugin bundle that came with the Apollo twin usb so I thought that the bundle would round out the group. This 1176 bundle is SO close to the hardware it's scary. I'm particularly impressed with the 'AE' version. If you haven't demoed them yet, give them a try. I've used them on many sources and found them outstanding in every application. Thanks to UAD for the talent of bringing these to my fingertips

Classic staple unit of the 90s and 2000s. I even use it on masters to help kill a little digital top. The compressor rocks as well. to the folks leaving poor reviews over the amount of presets, grow up and read the manual. Theres like 5 knobs that all do very obvious things this isnt rocket science

Sounds So Original
I've read about and listened to the the hardware which i cant afford. But there is such a remarkable similarity it's unbelievable'. very musical. It's now my go to plugin for compression.

Makes your songs sound more like real records. Easy to get good results with presets, but takes some time to understand and learn all the variables.

I've only had it for a few weeks, but I've used it to give air to a snare drum, majesty to a vocal, and depth to a mix 2-bus. I've never used the real thing, and so can't speak to its accuracy of emulation, but I can speak to its musicality: outstanding. Between this and the EMT-140, I actually don't use my Capitol much anymore.
