Just the right amount of distortion!
Adds that classic sound and flavor. Enhances the harmonics a very musical way.

Great all-in-one plug-in
A very good plug-in including all one needs for recording and mixing. A wide range of presets to achieve any desired sound. Recommended!

Just like the real thing!
I had the pleasure of using a fairchild compressor a few years ago on my recordings and fell in love with it. Now I have the great pleasure of owning this software which authentically reproduces the gear and produces the great quality of sound at a price that I can afford! Forever grateful! Thanks UA

I shouldn't have wait
Well, I bought the 480L first but I finally decided to go for the 224. And yeah, it is even better, at least in terms of workflow, you have everything at your fingertips and every program sounds killer on any track. My go-to in few days, now I have a friend for my RMX16...Fantastic job UA, thanks !

Perfect for Mastering bus
Everything change after you mix is done completed for mastering. Totally give your mix sound warmest almost like analogue sound on the master bus. Love it...so much no wonder why people love UAD plugins.

Woaw!
My favourite compressor on almost everything. Fat and natural.
Watch out for huge ess-boosting on vocals though.

Love it!!!!!
I got all the UAD reverbs. This one is the most warm, coulorful and beautiful one for sure. A "must have" for vocals on ballads!
P.s I love the pure plate and the lexicons too.

API Vision works great for Acoustic or Electric Guitars, and Vocals
I used the API Vision on a song for a client (songwriter). API Vision was beautiful on a direct acoustic guitar, the electric guitar (UAD 1955 Fender Tweed), and vocals. My Bluebird mic vocals were really warm and present. The API Vision Strip was much easier to operate than I expected and gave me the sound I was looking for.

This is a must have
This was the missing link to my chain. It makes everything it touches sound better in so many different ways.

nice simple and warm
a revelation for vocals, I bought it for $ 25 on sale and I think it was the best deal ;)

Love the sound, UI way too small
I bought the Massive Passive EQ plug-in to use for color EQ on a master chain. I instantly loved the sound I was getting out of some of the presets and found it relatively easy to tweak. I compared it to a lot of different EQ plug-ins including the Chandler Curve Bender but preferred the overall sound of the Manley. (I did, however, end up buying and using the FabFilter Pro-Q3 exclusively for both color and corrective EQ-ing in my master chain because it was just so very surgical.) One negative for the Manley is that the user interface is WAY too small for how many details are on the panel. I find this to be true with all UAD plugs and UA desperately needs to start offering resizability. I probably won’t use the Manley how or as much as I had originally intended, but I will more than likely use it on certain instrument channels similar to how I use the Pultec on my vocal channels. I probably wouldn’t have bought it had I settled first on the FF Pro-Q3 but I’m glad I have it for options.
