Game changer for me
I hate to use the phrase "game changer" but for me that is what it is. I didn't think that I needed yet another "classic" emulation, but when you find the sweet spot with this there is nothing like it. The series I currently score is primarily for orchestra and electronics. This plug in brings amazing definition and vibe to everything that passes through it. In conjunction with the Manley Variety Mu it delivers instant magic.

My Go-To for Pretty Much Everything
This one is the real deal, makes anything you put it on sound better. Can't speak on the accuracy to the hardware but can speak to the fact that it's one of UADs best plugins, in my opinion. Definitely a must have

if you want to strenghten up your tracks, give them body and punch, and make them really heard in your entire mix without touching your volume fader, this is what you need..

ua disconnect
I can't judge my new product because ua connect is not workingg! when i open ua connect it says: "an ilok issue occurred. uad plugins will be available after this temporary ilok issue is resolved. please wait a few minutes. then restart ua connect. (restart)" when I restart it says: "an ilok issue occurred. uad plugins will be awaibable after this temporary ilok issue is resolved. please wait a few minutes. the restart ua connect. (restart)" and so on and on and on. Can You Please Help?

good analog sounding Synth
Like and use this one a lot. Yes, to be online its a little bit anoying, but for me at least its ok. I only work in my Studio.

A perfect buy for me
I am relatively new to UA plug ins & a happy spark subscriber. When I fully realized the 6176 is actually 3 different devices combined into one & I had a $25 coupon. The CPU hit is beyond reasonable & I am able to use my 6176 as my main channel strip on pretty much all my analogue instruments & vocals in my mixes and it sounds amazing to my ears every time!!! I am very pleased with my purchase!

Very Nice
I bought this because I felt I needed a better eq for the master bus, and this really is better than what I was using. It sounds amazing to me, and I really like the m/s capability on the master, or any other bus that needs it. The other eq that came with it is also good, I used it on a drum bus and it sounded great. I have not tried it on vocals yet but I'm betting that it's gonna sound good to.
I'm not a big fan of stepped eq's and set frequency eq's, but that is starting to change.

Super disappointing that there is only a Native version. It's an effect that should be available on Apollo.

De verdad tiene todos los maticez que un propio hardaware, con la facilidad que nos trae el software, de verdad se recomienda para todo.
Sobre todo para voz, acusticos etc.

UA6176 vs. LA-6176
I have owned the UA6176 for many years and this is the best preamp/limiter of all so I was quite surprised how well the new LA-6176 performed and how easy it suddenly is with settings and all. With that said, there is no doubt that the "real thing" is sounding better. The warmth and subtle distortion when gaining and tweaking it and how it performs in "British Mode" is the reasons I will keep it in the studio. However, if you need the second best thing and on the road so to speak, the LA-6176 is outstanding among all plugins I have tested so far so big up for the team at UA for making this great product. By the way........it should be mandatory to use both these units in "British Mode", it will blow you away! :)

Learning to use this plugin
Getting used to this plugin. Seems to work well on bass tracks and drum bus. Quality of sound is phenomenal .

Useless
In session. Client ask me for a rotary/leslie plugin. I remember this, but can't find it in my Apollo plugin list. I update with the new software to see if it's added. Spend 20 minutes on it, but there is no plugin. Find out that it is not for the Apollo. UA made another dick surge move. They want me to have two parallell system for the plugins and made this only native. Why? I am not going buy and download a separate plugin and separate software.

This is the smoothest mic pre I have heard in a long time. Simply adding it to the channel performs magic! It has the 610 B warmth, and the 1176 limiter add brightness, while the LA2A Opto seriously controls powerful vocalist on a bright condenser mic! Bravo! This is my new favorite toy!
