Great sound, lacking additional features
This is the best-sounding Minimoog emulation I've tried.
However, it lacks some of the QoL features that are present in other brand's emulations, like an arp for example.
If you intend to use it as a real Minimoog, then it's awesome.

Sounds bad
I was expecting more from this piano since Electra 88 sounds awesome.
However, I'm hugely disappointed. Even with no reverb and with close mics, it sounds like it's recorded in a large bathroom. Has no intimacy/warmth in the sound, it sounds thin.
You can make it work with some eq'ing but why is the hassle, just use ANY other library.
Unfortunately, this is the worst-sounding paid piano library I have ever heard.

This the Rhodes you're looking for
This is the best EP I have ever heard for this price range. It's much better than the other brands and also on par with Keyscape. This is far cheaper than Keyscape though (while on sale), I can't recommend it enough.

Better than the competition
This sounds much better than the other plugins out there from other brands. It sits very easily on the mix.

One of my favorite preamps
I've tried it, and it's on my list for the very next purchase.
A great all around preamp. Clean, but warm, round, suitable for absolutely anything. Synths, vocals, drums, guitars, bass, whatever. Almost has a tube warmth, but with less mud, a more open top, and yet without the sharper edges you'd associate with a solid state.
It almost fools you it's tube, but without uncanny clarity.

One of my favorites
I've read somewhere that Oxide is a simplified version of the Studer Tape plugin, with an inbuilt set of adjustments. DOn't know if it's true or not, but it sounds very different out of the box, and you'd struggle to get Studer to match the sound of Oxide by tweaking its individually adjusted parameters.
Oxide sounds great, it's refreshingly easy to use, and if you want that particular tape profile - which is great, round and warm, but clean at the same time - without having to wrestle to make Studer sound similar - I haven't succeeded, but I haven't tried too much, to be honest - it's definitely a good addition to the tape collection, especially since the price is not one you're gonna feel sorry about.

To improve...
The plugin is good but It would be great if you made a "mix" button directly on the panel.

is this only for UADx or will it be for Unison?
The plugin sounds great and I've always wanted to have an amp sim of the deluxe with the reverb and tremolo. The potential is amazing! But I'm used to using Unison plugins.
Maybe i'm doing it wrong, but when I try to track with the plugin as an insert in Pro Tools or Luna, I can't use Low Latency or ARM? So I get latency.
Am I missing a step? I have the subscription to UADx plugins and i was so happy to see the amp sims are part of the package but I can't use this way.
Thanks!

Voxbox is top notch!
Voxbox is not just great on vocals but great on drums and great for adding fatness to your bass!

UAD stands on top!
Tested against a handful of PULTEC emu's and UAD out shines them all!

Love it
A bit surprised by the current average rating for this product. As a guitar player I find it sits among the best guitar amp plugin I've ever played. Edge of breakup sounds are usually very disappointing to me in other plugins but on this one, with a good Strat, those just shine.
Put volume, treble and bass on ten, the rest on zero with the Boutique D65 cab, add a room reverb (Hitsville Little Bass Room in my case). Use the boost if you need more grit. You're ready for a timeless blues jam.

great for voice
As a voice actor this is an awesome tool. I am only starting to discover the possibilities. Adds organic power to my voice, very granular

If you are running Mac OS Sonoma, DO NOT BUY.
I absolutely LOVE what this reverb is capable of. I started using it on release running Catalina and it worked like a dream. I used it very consistently and quickly fell in love with it. The plugin is very intuitive, and sounds incredible when utilized tastefully. I had no issues running 10+ instances of this on my system (iMac mid 2020 Retina 5k, 3.6 GHz 10 Core i9, 128 Gigs Ram running Logic Pro X)
**HOWEVER**
I just recently updated my system to Mac OS Sonoma, and now this plug-in is basically unusable. There some CRITICAL issue with the compatibility of this plug-in and Sonoma. The GUI has become unbearably sluggish. It takes 30+ seconds to update ANY changes, and the controls do not respond to input 90 percent of the time. I'm extremely disappointed that UA has not resolved this issues yet.
I still use this plug-in because I love the way it sounds, but it has become a major hindrance in my workflow, and for that reason I cannot recommend it AT ALL at this time. (unless you are NOT on Sonoma.)
Please fix this!! :(

Sounds pretty good, but WTF, it's noisy as hell
You have to choose the gain and eq carefully or it loses its analog vibe quickly. There is no way to attenuate the noise. How about a switch just to turn the noise off? To rub it in, UA offers no noise gate of its own. I would have to run through something like Buxom Betty just to get a working noise gate which of course is stupid. I'm not particularly thrilled with UA or the Ruby.

Pour Sound and Very Thin
I am completely disappointed with UA, the quality is dropping and it seams to be thin sounding, the Dream plugin uses 60% plus of my systems resources, please fix this issue, or I will be forced to shop other audio interfaces and plugins.

Quo vadis UAD ... new guitar plugins native
The new native guitar plugins are smart, especially the Lions "Marshall" one. However, why should I buy such a plugin if a cannot use it with Apollo in unison mode. For me, all this does not make sense, unless it is true that UAD gradually attempts in the long run to leave the Apollo hardware line. If this, sadly, should be the case, they betray their confident hardware customers. Hope, that early enough they wake up and recognise, where this journey leads to finally. Besides that ... I like the new guitar plug-ins. I would buy two of the new guitar plugins if they were Apollo-enabled (and not only native). But it does not make sense for me to buy them without this ability. I love Apollo , but the native versions are just a (sometimes very) conveniant add on to it.
