This synth is real. It is so close to hardware device. I bought this one and Opal because after testing both they provide different textures. I like both in fact.

absolute favorite compressor for vocals
I am one of the many ppl who have recently adopted spark, I saw a deal for the first 3 months for a dollar or something like that. I know UA has a great reputation but I had never really had a chance to try any of the plugins that they make. thanks to my subscription, I was able to play around with several of the plugins from the UA library, and there is a lot that I like, some that I love, and honestly even the ones I'm not particularly in love with are still great at what they do. that being said, olone reaally stood out. for whatever reason I just loved the 1176 compressors, and what they do you all the tracks honestly, but specifically vocals. one small feature I will say is so small but to me its just so nice to have it, there is a simple "mix" knob that for me gets such great results by simply using the "average vocal compression" preset and just dialing it back with the mix knob to taste. just that little trick is such a simple, easy, and really quite good sounding technique to just give a vocal track a smoothness that I have difficulty achieving with other plugins. 10/10 it just works. there is o e small thing to mention. when I first felt like I needed these compressors, they actually weren't available to outright purchase unless you bought some specific hardware from UA. I got love for UA but I felt like "man I want to spend my money on their software but I don't need hardware" well needless to say within a month or 2 of that unfortunate issue, sure enough the 1176 compressors are on sale now, with no requirement to purchase hardware. so the decision to do that was unbelievably appreciated, I can't express how much I wanted to buy these. thank you for all that you guys do

The best miniMoog in the box, but…
I’ve tested many moog model D software emulations and this the best out there, sounds amazing, but it’s not finished, it’s now native but we can’t use the “external” mode, will you enable this in the future? Thanks guys.

Great Sonics but no Apollo Support
Sounds great but after buying into UAD2 with an Apollo and DSP expansion I feel cheated that this is now Native only. Im pro Native but supporting UAD2 is the right thing to do for at least the next few years.

Everlasting Quality..
I first heard of UAD plugins in 2009, and the sense around them was that they were top tier.. But because I couldn't afford them back then, I couldn't necessarily test them out for myself.. 13 years later, I'm now able to afford them, plus them being native makes it a whole lot easier for one to get into the system.. The quality is still outstanding! Unmatched in my humble opinion and it gives you a lot of confidence knowing that the software is working as it should.. I'm really enjoying my Fairchild 670 plugin.. Keep up the amazing work, guys!

Can’t live without it
Never realize how easy it is to use for vocals, I’m sure you could use it for a lot of things, but I normally am using it for vocals in my vocal chain and it gets the job done, very easy to use. Don’t need to see to use it, just use your ears, and once that’s done apply, the game to recover volume simple as that can go wrong with this one

Fairchild classic sound
Is so easy to deal with this compressor, just a classic, the sound is giving amazing analog vibes. I love it, just the best emulation in the market, and maybe I have all of them. Thanks UA, this is like a wine, just better with the time, a trustful plugin

Not part of Waterfall?????
Why is this not part of the new update of Waterfall??? It should definitely be!!! Now, I purchased Waterfall and I would also have to purchase this Leslie emulation because it is even better than the one within Waterfall??? Waterfall is a B3, for goodness sake!!! This is so unfair!!!

Good but with problems
The plugin sounds very good but most of the time, when reopening saved projects, the right channel has a significant drop in volume even with linked channels. I always have to slightly touch both "record" level and "reproduce" level to get back to normal functioning. Very annoying. Too many times I had to (re)bounce final mixes due to this problem. Without mentioning even worse problems when you have the plugin on the master channel and you keep mixing not realising you are working with an unbalanced stereo image. You can imagine.

Just right and got deal!
So I got this on sale at 174 PLUS a 50 coupon so for that price I couldn't resist. I immediately put it on a snare and it was beautiful! I've been in the UAD eco system for sometime now and have 12 UAD cores. Since use a mix of plugins incl ST console one which I love and other brands mixed with UAD so I rarely max out the UAD stuff anymore on a 7 yr old 4 core i7 so. UAD CPU isn't an issue for me really. I love this thing
