This is far and away the best tape saturation emulation I’ve heard.
I’ve used many tape saturation plugins. Some really good ones. None make my tracks as “3D” as the Studer does. Put it on every track. An Ampex on the mix bus. ——- Bliss.

Not bad analog emulation
Sound good compared with other developers' analog emulations, but need some adjust in the engine to get the powerful imperfect, warm, fast, and power sound from real classic analog synths.

Should have been the first
When I first got into purchasing plugins for my Apollo, I started with a couple verbs and a delay, API/Neve preamp, SSL bus compressor etc. I thought that I would eventually get around to a tape sim, but they were pricey for what I thought they did. When Oxide came out, I grabbed it in a sale and figured it would be good enough for tracking, and it was especially considering the low price. Fast forward to virus lockdowns when I had time to archive old multitrack recordings into digital from a loaned tape machine. I fell in love with the color, and warm compression that I had forgotten about. I promptly loaded up the ATR-102 demo, and swapped out the Oxide on all tracks of some recent material, and BAMMM! There it was. It was on sale. It should have been the first. It makes everything sound warmer, more harmonic. Lustrous. The oxide still has its place. I can crank it for more of an effect that is quite enjoyable.

Nice musical feeling
I've only had time to use it on backing vocals bus, but I feel like I'll use this often in the future .

Very Solid B3
I am not a keyboard player but use VIs from time to time in my own productions and with my clients. Having a great-sounding B3 and rotating speaker is a must with a lot of the music I play. This ticks all the boxes for me... great sounds, easy to use with a good variety of customization. I would definitely recommend it!

Simple UI, but sounds very good
Excellent plate reverb emulation. Does not have that unpleasent metallic "clang" many others do. This is very smooth. UI is very intuitive. My choice of plate reverbs at the moment.

The best leveler for bass guitar
At the moment, for me the best bass guitar leveler there is in plug-in format, compared with many other similar LA-2A plug-ins. I don't know what UA LA-2A does differently than others, but it sounds so good! UI is very simple and intuitive, as it should be. This is not the chepeast one out there, but this is my choice.

Yup.
Been eyeing this for a while and finally grabbed it. Tracked a vocal with it for the first time and my purchase was justified. Didn't have to do much to the recording during the mix, as it came in sounding killer. The high-end is so musical. Also been putting my electric bass through it. Very impressive plugin!

My favorite API 2500 emulation, such a lovely, transparent sound.

Brilliant
One of the best tape emulations that I've ever used.

More detailed than any other I could listen to
The texture of sound is very ok. And contrary to many others VST for Steinway (Pianoteq, Arturia, etc.) you don't have this clumsy sound in the 3rd octave. Some find it too roomy. Not in my book. The "dry" VST I could test are weird because the sound is unnatural and adding a reverb does not really change the basic tone. Maybe it's a lack of harmonics, don't know. Anyway, for the price this one is really a bargain and the most pleasing one for jazz sound.
