Most Musical Compressor Plugin
Hands down the most musical compressor in my arsenal. It has become my go to for everything. Especially as the parallel compressor right on the drum bus thanks to the mix knob.

Exquisite analog synth with the most profound sound
I bought this because I saw Stephan Bodzin using it live, so I thought I'd give a try, I already had the Arturia Mini V, so I compared them and was amazed of how UAD actually made the sound so profound and rich, I fell in love with the sound, and now I try to use it on all my songs, the best bass and some great leads too, I felt like my music took a leap and sounds more professional, I highly recommend this, one of the best buys I made, and with a discount, thank you for reading (I have no conflict of interest)

The Best I Have Used
I am really loving the ATR. It has its flavor and is currently the favorite of my tape plugins. It has a fair amount of tweakability without being overwhelming. It's an oldie but a goodie!

Real studio sound
Provides a greater depth and definition to your mixes. It needs some practice to get the best sound from the room. I'm not a fan of using this as an insert as there's not enough control of the rooms parameters. I use it on Aux and Buss mainly, which allows you to place your drums and instruments back and forth in the mix. Previously I was using Acustica's Silver room simulator, which is good but not as sophisticated as this Sound City Plug in.

Low graphics resolution mode request
Sounds great, although a bit expensive on old 2015 mac. And it looks like the reason is the same as with Arturia. 4K graphics of interface?..or am i wrong? ...would be nice to focus on sound if thats the case though)

Simple but effective
I must confess that I wasn’t crazy about it at first, but after using it on a project it became a favorite. It cuts through the mix and the voice panning sounds amazing.

I've been using the EMT 140 plate for years and it is my favorite plate reverb by far but I wanted a better room/chamber verb and this one is it. It can be the perfect ambience/space/sound for many songs.

Subtle warmth
Easy way to add warmth to any mix, really glad a got it. It’s also made me a believer in pre-sets.

Amazing plug-in
I use everyday to create room to my guitars. Recording through the Marshall JMP-1 and adding room, reverb and space to my sound. Great!!

The real deal!
I've probably tried every single tape plugin out there. One could argue they all have their use, and I won't be discussing that. In my opinion, this plugin and a tape plugin from a different developer are the only two that actually do what a tape plugin should do, the difference is that this one from UAD can accomplish the same thing, but with more versatility. You won't need anything else with this plugin. Saturation, natural tape compression and mid-side done right, with no phase issues whatsoever. The clipping however is a little more difficult to control, but it's achieved by balancing the Record and Reproduce levels (specially the Record level). The plugin, as expected from UAD, sounds incredible, making the mixes much warmer and open (if that's what you're aiming for). As I mentioned earlier, it's highly versatile no matter what settings you choose, so if you have a vision for what your mix should sound like, this plugin will make it a reality without any hassle or struggles. It's that easy.

Good control of dynamics and multitude of "flavors"
I have many tapes, I had never tried Ampex until it arrived natively, I must admit that I really liked it for the master, I have it configured quite flat, I don't like that it modifies the EQ curve of the signal much, entering 0vu manages to apply a very natural glue effect on the dynamics and achieve 2-3 db's of headroom without deteriorating the signal.
